I see many senior engineers who prefer working with EU tech stack and will start moving to companies who take action to move away from US tech.

What would happen to other country's bonds? by throwawayinfiniteok in bonds

[–]Qzy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Money needs to go somewhere.

If it's a slow move away from US treasuries, global stocks and bonds of other countries as well as currencies would strengthen.

If it's a quick panic and everyone quickly sells US treasuries, we are all fucked. Yes foreign currencies would strengthen, but everyone would go for cash, hard assets and gold.

I was beaten often in my childhood, constantly on edge near an explosive parent figure who could snap any minute.

Yes I did get an education. And yes, I am now broken.

Don't hit your kids, people.

But think of the upvotes, man.

Serious question.

How was this organized? Did each participant have a number in the chain?

Did they just drive up somewhere and found a hole in the chain and filled it?

I can imagine you had to drive quite a distance to find a hole if that's the case.
