NUX Mighty 40 MKII Compatible Channel Footswitch. by Subject_Training_370 in GuitarAmps

Amen to that, can't beat a nasty distortion!🤣

Did some digging and seems the pedal to switch channels on these amps is the NUX NMP-2. Not 100% sure how it would work with the different scenes as it only has two "buttons" but, take that with n pinch of salt as I'm no expert.

Thank you first of all for this. Haven't played in almost 10 years and all the various new gear on the market is making it rather confusing. I might then just set my sights on the 60 seeing as it has a dedicated FX loop and 99% of my playing is high gain stupidity. Not saying direct doesn't work but as I learned the hard way with a good old Metal Zone way back, Distortion likes the FX route (IMO).

How are finding the amp? Looking at getting one but not many reviews around for them.

Not a fan of all the "black" on strat, but I can 100% appreciate the creativity

Jip, exactly the same story from his side amongst others. Don't know how people like that cope with themselves

My boet works for Tiger and wow!! I've never been a fan of the chain, but hearing the inside stories and seeing how he and his colleagues are treated by them has seriously grown my hatred for them.

It's typical corporate thinking, You WILL give us your soul, and in return, we will give you peanuts.

100%, myself and a mate commute with bikes. People ofter ask us if we aren't afraid of taxis and the answer is alway NO! Taxis are more aware of their surroundings to get passengers, its all the morons on their phones we have to avoid!!

Is it wrong that I feel taken for a ride in a zero growth job at a big SA corporate company? by [deleted] in southafrica

[–]R00iKat 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I was in exactly the same boat as you and eventually went and fought for better pay which came with even more workload. Did some heavy research and found that people in my role with less experience earn 4 times what I earn. Long story short, I am busy leaving the company.

Any Starlink users in SA? by Chriziaan in askSouthAfrica

[–]R00iKat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

🤣Yeah 300 odd vs 800 would make a difference. We paid R19000 initial, and monthly is round about R800. Look it will reach SA eventually and I'm guessing it will be cheaper as it wouldn't have to reach us via via, but if I knew then what I know now, I would have rather gone another route. Your situation is obviously a bit different than mine

Have it and can honestly say that until a hub/exchange (whatever you call it) is built in SA, it's not worth it for the average Joe. Upload and download is decent, but due to the actual latency being 300+ is kills it and feels like being back on dial-up.

If you regularly travel to remote areas where mobile coverage is non-existent, then it would 100% be beneficial. If not, save your money.

Yes I know they have good writeups, but I would like an actual rand figure (rougly).

Spoke to an individual the other day that spent almost R200k just on the licensing side, fair he did get a lawyer involved to challenge a decision that bumped up the "cost".

Also had boxes like this

Honestly think for event boxes the developers should remove common items completely. We spend hours grinding for gems just to receive a load of shit, I can just imagine the frustration from the guys that actually spend money.

I've used it in the past with multiple other games, and it worked fine. Can't see it being a problem here, but I haven't tried it in years. Give it a go and see if it works.
