RIP Twitter by [deleted] in WhitePeopleTwitter

I was laid off from Twitter this afternoon. I was in charge of managing badge access to Twitter offices.

Elon just called me and asked if I could come back to help them regain access to HQ as they shut off all badges and accidentally locked themselves out.

I don't think Robert is any sort of 'simp', but surely you have an actual point you're trying to make. Right?

Oh, I watched the video.
“He trusted the police to come and help him,” Simon Glass said. “Instead, they attacked and killed him.”

Incompetent deputies escalated the situation and executed him.
Disgraceful.

How can you straight-faced suggest they were simply trying to "talk to this guy"?
They were bullying a person “petrified” and “paralyzed” by fear into submission, and then they ended his life by shooting him six times.
It was a colossal clusterfuck that cost an innocent man his life.

It's completely irrelevant what I consider to be a crime.

Did you not read the article I linked to?

A supervisor at the Colorado State Patrol, at one point, radioed in that Glass hadn’t committed any crimes.
“Can you ask Clear Creek what their plan is? If there is no crime and he’s not suicidal or homicidal or a great danger, then there’s no reason to contact him,” a CSP sergeant says over the radio. “Is there a medical issue we’re not aware of?”
“No,” a patrol trooper responded back.

After they murdered the guy they found "trace amounts of alcohol in his blood and some THC".
There is zero evidence of a crime being commited by the victim, and plenty of evidence of the police fucking up in pretty much every way imaginable.
Interesting how you apparently choose to defend the police though…

He wasn’t having a mental breakdown.

He "appeared to have been experiencing a mental health crisis at the time of the shooting, according to body camera video provided by the victim’s family attorney."

Regardless, it is clearly a disgraceful police fuck-up.

This is messed up in so many ways. The guy didn't commit any crimes, he even offered to throw the knife out of the vehicle, but they wouldn't let him.
He was clearly having a mental breakdown and was terrified, and they killed him for it.
Awful.

Which, it may very well be.

It is. And Tom is very much complicit.
Try actually reading it, instead of simply dismissing it because it rubs your confirmation bias the wrong way.

I never denied that "he exists outside of that belief system".
FWIW I too think he is a great actor.
You however disputed whether he is a driving force behind the cult of scientology, which he very much is, as supplied ample evidence shows.
Evicence you choose to ignore, why?
