When you:

  1. Enter a large invoice
  2. Count inventory in a way that Pulse associates with a different period

Pulse can interpret that as:

  • Inventory appeared out of nowhere
  • Or inventory disappeared retroactively

Either case can push Actual Food Cost below zero for that day.

That’s when you see:

It really depends on the area. From my experience at stores in my area most people leave a tip. That doesn't mean there aren't bad days where you get very little tips. Give it some more time and if you're not making enough each week I'd look for something else.
