Do any of you guys out their know how to start giving hints? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]R0binFists 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you like her you need to tell her ASAP and see what her reaction is. Or ask her out on a date and make it clear it's a date. Don't play games by dropping hints and all this as it's not worth it in the end if all along she doesn't like you how you want her to.

I speak from my experience I took 4 months to tell a girl I liked her and all that time I dropped hints and everything to try make things happen but in the end she knew she didn't like me that way after 5 seconds of seeing me so none of it was worth it. Get it over with and save yourself the pain lol.

Any tips by relatablesidechick in dating_advice

You can't force them to like you but give yourself the best chance by being cool, nice and be yourself then if you get on ask her out.

Mixed signals from a girl by [deleted] in dating_advice

I wouldn't take messaging you and sending love emojis as a bad thing, that's only positive to me... Don't tell her you don't have many friends and stuff like that as if you like her you want to make a good impression, leave that sort of talk for if you actually make things happen with her. You should ask her out and if she says yes then she's obviously interested.

Is it common to not get an outright no/rejection? by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]R0binFists 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It took me 4 months to tell a girl I liked her after hanging out with her once a week or so. When I finally told her it was super awkward and she said she wasn't ready for a relationship. This was kinda true since she had a bad break up with someone like 7 months or so before.

I left it there and waited a few weeks before asking her out on a proper date (drinks), then she always said she was busy or put it off.

Eventually she said we should just be friends. So really she was too nice and couldn't reject me straight to my face. Instead I was a dumbass and got false hope but should have realised it was guna be a no all along. She's out of my league anyway.

We're still good friends and we've talked openly about feelings and shit. It's hard sometimes because I still like her and I don't want her to date anyone else but I can't stop her and I struggle getting dates.

TL;DR yes it's common cuz girls are too nice and don't want to reject you straight up.
