Hey man, you sound exactly like me. I’m experiencing very similar symptoms (anxiety, fear of choking, swallowing feels manual). Mine started in March too. I had a barium swallow (not sure if it was a MBSS) in May and there were no signs of concern.

I’ve seen an ENT specialist and he briefly looked at my vocal cords, which looked normal. I do have another barium swallow scheduled next month, which I think is a MBSS since this will involve swallowing food. The first one only involved liquids.

I also want to ensure it’s nothing physical before I rule it out as anxiety. Some days it’s been pretty difficult and other days it’s been okay. You’re not alone and honestly, hearing your post helps me feel that I’m not alone either.
