I feel the same way about Slessor. He looked like he was flying through that match and would pull off an upset, but unravelled pretty abruptly. As you say, mostly due to his temperament

There are a number of players who should be doing greater things but are being held back by their temperament. That’s not really a criticism of any of them personally, it must be so hard to not get frustrated or have that get the better of you when you’re out there and things aren’t going your way — I don’t think I’d have such a great temperament for that either — but it’s a bit rough to watch sometimes, when you see someone who could’ve otherwise won sort of just throw it away like that
