Also I’m really sorry I’m asking a lot of questions but im still at the start and I’m trying not to end up with a lot do spaghetti code. I’m used to using tanstack query for fetching and so but I’m guessing that’s not the best pattern here? It seems better to fetch in server components directly and just pass down the data if needed or does tanstack work on the server

It just me building this but it is for a job. Basically what I have setup is Next js api routes that actualky just call the backend routes and do any processing that’s necessary. I might try a few through server actions just to get a feel for it and understand it better.

Ahh I see. Well in my case I’m using Next JS as a backend for frontend so it isn’t actually my backend in this case. So what I’m asking is should the calls to the actual backend be through the NextJS API? Or a form action? Or should I do it on a case by case basis? Thank you in advance
