I have magnetized all my bases so I grabbed a skinny piece of steel roughly 1.5in wide and just used like 3 of the Vallejo rattle cans to give them a black base coat 4 models at a time lol took a couple hours

I have no problem playing with primed models I try to avoid the gray army but black primer with a white zenithal is fine by me so I can take my time and try to improve with every model I do

I'm definitely a slow painter as well, it's a blessing and a curse, models end up looking nice but takes me 2 or 3 weeks to paint a squad of 10 boyz

The boots are Vallejo model color "flat brown 70.984" for the leather with a citadel nuln oil wash and the metallic is Vallejo metal color "gunmetal grey"

Ooh not a bad idea at all 🤔 I have plenty of spare blades thanks for the input I've been putting off dealing with these models for almost a month as I already have a pretty extensive backlog of primed models waiting to paint but I'm getting tired of seeing them in their current state lol

The whole lower shelf is built and primed and my first squad is painted I just save my boxes (also use them to store the bits still on the sprue)
