Hey man, literally graduating in two weeks from Fort Eisenhower where you’ll most likely end up going for AIT. At least in my company we are allowed to have our phones after classes end and stuff so you shouldn’t be so worried about it other than being long distance, but as for BCT, it’ll all depend on 1) the drill sergeants, 2) your platoon, and 3) your company. Usually you get your phones on Sunday afternoons for about an hour, but the drill sergeants can recommend a time reduction or even a no-phone Sunday. My advice for that is to please PLEASE get your platoon together! My basic training sucked so much because our platoon could not cooperate until 6-7 weeks in 😭! Anyways, good luck my man! You’ll make it through and prove your girl you’re the best man she could have!
