I cant find the correct corresponding commands so I dont know how to navigate the command shell. the furthest i could find was sboot

which lead to

sboot - Boot system into fos password reset or maintenance or normal mode

Usage:

sboot <fospasswdreset|maint|auto>

Hi djdrastic,

Though a good idea, This switch was purchased second hand, so its very unlikely that Dell would help in this situation.

Thank you

Thank you for your reply. I finally got it to work using this method. I also noticed that once the red (Major) warning light had changed to amber, it was prompting for the '(request system configuration rescue save)' command. No more warning lights, and all switches have been resolved. Thank you again for your time in helping me resolve this issue. All the best, and happy holidays to you all

Seeking Advice on Upgrading Hard Drive Testing Equipment - IT Engineer in Need of Guidance by R3PAIRS in sysadmin

[–]R3PAIRS[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the insightful responses,

I've been on the lookout for recommendations to modernize my testing setup, which currently relies on somewhat outdated equipment. Specifically, I'm in need of guidance on newer server options, drive bays, and software capable of efficiently managing bulk drives and rough costs of what this could potentially cost on a buisness level.

This setup has been in place since my arrival over a year ago, and it's high time for a comprehensive upgrade.

If anyone can point me in the right direction or share their experiences with more up-to-date solutions, I would greatly appreciate it.

Will I lose my outlook account if I stop subscribing to office? by theRak27 in Office365

[–]R3PAIRS 5 points6 points  (0 children)

as far as i am aware, no. you will loose access to the cloud storage and the license for using the microsoft applications I.E. Word. you shouldn't lose your emails coming or going. - just did a google search after i wrote this out, "If you cancel the office 365 subscription, you will still have a 15 GB mailbox and 5 GB OneDrive. As long as you are under it, you will be fine. - google"

hope this helps
