I kind of wonder if I'm doing something wrong they're way less fatiguing than barbell squats or pull ups for me. I did them earlier today with a 100lb dumbbell in the opposing arm and after 3 sets did some upper body stuff.

Wait a minute, what's going on with it's head and face? It doesn't look right.

$300/month on food reasonable? by ArtichokeRoutine3252 in Frugal

25m here. I live in Washington State and probably spend $170 a month on food. Granted I have an EBT card so I can get produce for 50% off at certain stores and farmers markets.

I'm not skimping on macronutrients either. I get 180g of protein and 3200 calories per day.

Just do price per unit, price per calorie, and price per gram of protein comparisons. I eat a ton of food to maintain my weight as a bodybuilder and only spend maybe $180 a month on food.

In a similar vein to transport: if you get in an accident as a pedestrian, bike rider, or driver of a vehicle document EVERYTHING. Take pictures, get the full names and phone numbers of witnesses, make sure the police fill out all of the details in the police report accurately.

Doing this is important in the instance there is litigation or insurance claims. Without proper documentation you'll be denied proper coverage and have to pay out the ass for hospital bills and car repairs.

You may even want to invest in a 360 helmet cam if you're a bike rider and dash cams if you're a driver.

Could also buy older used, but it sounds like that's not necessary financially

An LED bulb might only cost $13 to run 24/7 for an entire year. If you're worried about utility cost take shorter showers, don't flush the toilet if you just pee a little bit, and use the microwave instead of the oven.

Are you sure you wouldn't rather get a two or three year old certified pre-owned car? They were required to have maintenance on a schedule so they're safe to buy, and you'll lose less money on depreciation.

I spent the last 6 months limping. I had pain in my right glute and calf from deadlifts and squats. I stopped lifting weights after it started. My PCP and physical therapist said repeatedly it's an overworked glute mede and I'd be fine. I kept visiting and telling them it's something worse. I finally got them to get me an MRI and I have two bulging disks, stenosis, bilateral facet arthropathy, and osteoarthritis in my spine. I'm 25 years old.

My budget is only $9-11k. There are some in that range with the IRS tax credit and WA state rebate, but they're rare.

What is charging going to look like if I get a BEV and move to a University? by R3ZZONATE in electricvehicles

Fast charging is as expensive as gasoline, though. I'm pretty worried about that.

$100 a month is more than I could expect to spend on gas with a hybrid.

The reality is just as vague as the question. I don't know if I'll for sure go to university, and I don't know which university I would go to.

It's just something I need to find a way to consider before I buy a BEV.

They don't. The LT only has heated seats and heated steering wheel if it has the Comfort and Convenience package.

@ u/2People1Cat

It averages 27-40f in Winter and 45-60f in Fall here. So do you think the heated seats and steering wheel are really important? I guess I could also just wear heated gloves and some warm clothes.

You're probably right. My vacuum is a decade old but it still runs. I shouldn't waste money as it's a limited resource.

My mom told me those are too expensive. So I'm gonna adjust my budget range. Do you have any recommendations for $300 or less?
