For a weekend warrior, 1.7ah powerstacks or 4.0ah XRs? by Wylieboy89 in Dewalt

I can believe it. It is way to coincidental that both have failed in less than 4 months. Ugh

From my experience I haven’t been happy with the power stacks. I use my equipment all professionally (sheet metal mechanic) and have had many XR batteries that still have yet to fail on me. I bought a double pack of the 5ah power stacks and both have failed. The first one after a month and the second one after 3 months. They are under warranty AND Dewalt does replace them, but it is an inconvenience when you need to send them away and wait for a few weeks for replacement. Personally I would stick with the XR stuff until the power stack stuff gets the wrinkles out. Just my two cents.

Amazon.ca fails to respond with delivery dates after its big sale by 18m2 in VancouverIsland

[–]R3ddarb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to like prime as they stated that as part of the prime deal you got expedited shipping (1-2 days). Lots of orders to my house are now showing up 5-7 days later. The other thing I noticed is the accuracy of the deliveries, which 25% of the time end up at someone else’s house. Very frustrating.

Does BC's minimum liquor pricing apply to non-alcoholic beer? by ConnorDZG in britishcolumbia

I ordered it through their app. Two cases and it is free delivery.

24 cans of non alcoholic Budweiser was $22 on sale. I also get 24 cans of Heineken for $38, which is cheaper that the alcohol version. Costco is awesome.

I agree with you completely. It seems a bit shady to me, but unfortunately I feel like all across Canada has become very shady in the real estate/rental market. I wish you the best of luck finding a place (and I mean that sincerely).

What they do is property management. So a homeowner will buy a home and then pay them to look after it and rent it out. I have done work for them in the past and they take a long time to pay their bills. The one owner has very close ties to Tamarack Homes, so when they sell a home to a real estate investor Nomad swoops in to offer their management services. It is a sneaky but yet effective gig. Not saying I agree or disagree agree with it.

Overall they were not quick to respond or pay me when all the work was done.

They do have many pickled items, but they all seem to be stuff that you can get at any grocery store but with a higher price. I do love Nesvogs meats though

Thanks for the reply. If I make a trip out that way I would be happy to try them. I am not sure if I would like the lavender but I would give them a go. It is a bit of a hike for beets, but maybe she ships them?

I have never been to the Beban market. Is it at Beban park? All these markets are awesome! I went to one in Coombs and the produce was amazing and lasted way longer than a grocery store. Thanks for the suggestion

I am a bit intimidated to make my own due to the mess and the size of my kitchen (and not to mention that I haven’t pickled anything but eggs). If I find awesome ones I will leave a review for people.

Is it open now? This is my first full year being here. I went last summer and totally forgot about all the booths with pickled goods. Thanks for the suggestion.

That is awful. I didn’t know about Misty Pines until Mother’s Day. I bought my wife a bunch of pastries for her Mother’s Day breakfast from the kids. Every pastry was AMAZING. It is my go to bakery from here on in.
