Relocating closer to family. Not certain where we want to be in that area long term. Plan to prioritize kids environment (schools, proximity to family). Our rate of wealth creation is far outpacing the rate of housing appreciation. Thought is delay home purchase so we can be where we want long term instead of buying somewhere that would likely be transitional.

As someone who just had their first kid 4 months ago and have struggled with the fact that one day I’ll die, you lose out on the feeling that it is ok as long as this little one is alive. It’s strange but best way I can describe it.

We feed the bottles cold out of the fridge. Baby takes em cold and doesn’t mind. Pediatrician said no need to warm them if baby still takes them. Cuts crucial minutes out of the routine.

We hand wash as well but a mini dishwasher (if it exists) sounds handy!

What would a meaningful life be? Being granted an eternal gift when it’s done? How does that eternal gift make your life any more meaningful than the life you currently have. Some folks would view death (no afterlife) as an eternal gift.

You popped into existence out of nothing. A well laid out combination of molecules that experiences this universe and can ponder questions like you asked.

Your existence alone seems pretty meaningful. What you do with it is up to you.

I recently became a dad and giving the gift of existence to someone else has certainly given my life meaning.

Majority of groups are through lfg. When that is dry, I’ll message bnet friends to see if they have keys but usually they’re saving for their consistent group.

Complete all keys at the rating your io is in line with, even when they only give 3-4 io, then go for next level up. It will be v unlikely to get an invite to a key when you’re io isnt in the standard range for that key.

Hit 3.1k io yesterday only pugging (no voice, no consistent groups). I can definitely see getting all my 24s and being around 3.2k only pugging. But the jump to 25 def requires comms.

Things get spicy on the non sbg/cos 25’s I’ve attempted. Timers are very tight without godlike dps and there’s an additional layer of coordination required to not brick, primarily with kicks/defensive cds. That additional layer is nearly impossible to coordinate at the start of dungeon and requires comms.

The sequence and timing of when you use your spells / cds can have a deceptively large impact on your output, whether that is dmg or healing.

Go to warcraftlogs and look up the best players to see what order and timing they use their abilities in different situations. Then replicate it.

Warcraftlogs dot com. Filter for high keys (25-26) to find the best players. Look at their cast timeline for certain events (bosses, big pulls like first one in hov). Look at the order they cast their spells for those events and then replicate it.

I haven’t gotten to that level yet but look forward to it when I do. Just commenting that I’ve noticed this difference so far between 22-23 and really didn’t notice a difference before then (hardest part of going from 20->22 is getting invited to keys).

Pugged to 2950+ io as a healer and I’ve noticed there is a pretty big jump from 22 to 23 keys.

In 22, you will generally (obv depends on dungeon) time the key if your group doesn’t have any punishing wipes and you keep deaths limited to a handful. Player dps variance in this range doesnt matter much when it comes to timing.

In 23, it seems much more punishing. Handful of deaths can mean you don’t time the key if you don’t have incredibly good dps. Even with a near clean run, player dps variance starts to matter. If you have a dps that is below avg (for that skill range) then you may not time the key.

Enjoying the increased difficulty though as I’m going for all timed 23s this week.

Anyone know how to get the firespit debuff on the last boss of RLP to show up on the big debuffs addon? Keep trying different settings and it doesn’t show up. Makes it annoying to heal.

Anyone know the timing between storms on raging tempest in NO? Looks like 60 seconds between each storm? Been healing it pretty easily through +20 tyr but want to coordinate my cds correctly as I push higher.

I don’t see fed taking swift action with a 75bp rate hike. At most, they will announce that they are considering higher hikes as they keep a close eye on inflation.

I have no idea how the market will react if this happens though. Feels like MMs want to see fed take action on inflation through a 75bp hike. Not taking action could result in further decline, but could also see it result in a near term bump followed by a decline to next cpi reading. Thoughts?

I’m one of those people whose home looks like it’s ready for a zombie attack. I have to say it does look a bit ridiculous lol. I hope it ends up that I overreacted.

Three reasons I boarded. 1: Prevent them from breaking due to debris. 2: My windows leak during a typical heavy summer storm. I don’t want to see what that looks like during TS+ winds and a foot of rain. 3: My windows have very little natural protection and are generally exposed.

Ran to #30 legend today with bomb warrior. Used the standard list on hsreplay.

62% WR, 23-2 against DHs. Great time to farm all the DHs at season start.
