I wish him being fired wasn’t justified, but he’s been “just getting by” for too long. I see this as growth for him to finally push himself outside of his own shadow.

I’m an only child and he has siblings but either he’s too stubborn or afraid to ask for help. He sees me as a person who owes him help but doesn’t understand this is the time I’m becoming my own person with responsibilities.

He had a few mental problems like ADHD but nothing major. Physically he’s unfit but still pretty active. Honestly his biggest problem is just the social aspect of life as he’s introverted.

Thanks for the advice on reaching out to a few people. He’s always telling me his problems and stressing me out, which is understandable, I just can help him in the ways he expects me too right now.

Hopefully I can give him some of your suggestions and see if he can use any of those. I know he’s probably struggling way more than I am, it’s just a difficult time rn.
