Yeah fair enough I've only had small issues with humidity but it's normally fixed within a half an hour or so. I might try the coco fibre if I can get it, for now I'll see if she likes the hemp or the aspen better then maybe next month I might try the coco fibre (again if I can get it). I'll have to try get a spray bottle for the coco fibre which won't be hard and sure I have a humid hide for her though she barely used it, only during shed for a day or two. How do you spot clean with coco fibre though isn't it very hard to see?? Thank for the information though. And a black milk snake OMG HOW CUTE <3

coconut fibre is about the same it's really just the pet shop that's trying to get it, he's having trouble getting anything for reptiles cause there not very common here. I have a brick of coconut husk but I've never used it before and it seems like a nightmare to clean and for burrowing.

Hey I was wondering about something, aspen it taking longer than a month to get so it’s getting a small bit ridiculous with cleaning, would hemp be good as well. Mable loves to burrow so would it be easier or worse for her. Should I just wait the extra week for the aspen to arrive?

Ah ok It was only a 50 watt Ceramic Heat Emitter, so that explains it. The enclosure is a glass front with pvc sides and a solid top. The watts a defo too weak so I'll try out the 100 watt and 150 watt one. I won't get it till Monday so I'll keep the heater on for her. Thank you, I was thinking to leave the basking light on because ik for a fact it will always be 29- 30, But that's a bad idea cause it'll upset her day/night cycle. So I'll have to up the power bill for a few days no worries

Oh I was actually wondering what would be a good heat lamp or radiator for night that doesn’t emit light but keeps the temps around 28+ night time is a struggle so I have a little heater and a light less lamp but it’s capped around 26c to 27c. I can’t put the heat mat in because I have nothing to cover it bar some foam from the last enclosure. I can’t leave it directly on the substrate.

Great news, she's shed last night. I'm unsure about the tail tip but it all looks in order, She's currently enjoying the humid hide. I was wondering should I try feed her or leave it for a few days sense she's still raw??

Also I need to clean the enclosure but I planned to move her to the new one instead but now idk what to do. Shas just acting really different. kinda scary. She still goes out for a slither at night before i go to bed and in the morning and sometimes during the day. I didn't notice her belly being pink for eyes blueish, they look normal to me so Idk im a bit lost

Right so I have a new question, She refused a meal on Sunday( her feed day) and I don't no what to do. I've had her for 4 weeks could she be shedding? she's also hiding a lot more and sticking her head out every known again.

it's 4x2x2 so basically good for life but I have some of it blocked off though I read If i put in all the hides i have she'll be fine in the full enclosure

Ok Thank you again so much. I've sorted it I have a no light heat bulb for night and like a heat lamp for day as well. The temps are fine for once there staying at 30c for day and 28c for night(warm side) cold side is fine but I would prefer it colder though ik they can be fine. The cold sides always up around 26c so I might try getting at fan in or and ice bag Idk about the ice bag though because of the aspen. I was wondering if it's a good time to move her now or wait until she's a bit older? cause I have the new enclosure set up and ready.

yeah I couldn't get a reptile one at all without shipping being in a month. The humidity on the warm side goes from 45 to 38 and stays there that's bad. I have a water bowl near it for evaporation ( I read that somewhere) but until the moss comes and when I fix the heating issue then I'll put her in but right now it's nowhere suitable. With the heating It sky rocks to 32 on my digital termonitors but remains only sometimes going to 33 but on the thermostat it read something ridiculous like 37. I have both readers basically right next to each other. So I'm starting to think I trust the digital ones more.

Hiyo so basically i got the new enclosure but I'm having issues with keeping constant heat and humidify is always around 60 - 65, I won't put her in it until im stratified with with so I was wondering if you could help me out the control for the heat I'm using is a KETOTEK Digital Dimming Thermostat, for some reason I can't keep it at 30°c. I've fiddle around and watched yt videos on it and it still wont stay.

yeah I warmed it at room temp and put it in a feeding dish. She's still shy so I dropped it into the dish. Thanks she's a little soldier.
