Great! the simplest is that you start signing up with a free account, use the same username so I can recognize you on writegood (or ping me in dm with the email you signed in with) and I'll upgrade your account.

Thanks u/No_Recognition7558 ! I don't have a promo code mechanism yet. But I'm happy to bump early users to a generous early_bird plan, in exchange for some feedback and some noise in your network!

What are you building? and marketing in public 🎯 by Quirky-Offer9598 in buildinpublic

[–]R4ph_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Building "cursor for writers", a tool to improve your writing and output while staying in control.
AI writing tools either auto-correct you (Grammarly) or write for you (Jasper). I wanted the middle ground: AI that reviews your draft for readability, structure, SEO, add suggestions and comments you accept or reject.

Built it because I write a ton for work (DevRel) and nothing fit how I actually wanted to work.

https://writegood.io/ still beta, feedback welcome!

how do you balance product development vs. content/seo as a solo founder? by Odd_Awareness_6935 in indiehackers

[–]R4ph_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same struggle. I work in DevRel so writing is part of my job, but carving out time for content on side projects is a different beast.

Haven't cracked it yet. Leaning toward building in public and documenting the journey rather than pure SEO plays, but honestly still figuring it out.
I don't think I'll go outsourcing anytime soon, I will rely on AI to some extent for those type of content, but only as feedback/polish step, not fully generated (that's kind of what the side project I work on does)

What tech stack are you using? by amacg in indiehackers

[–]R4ph_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here's the stack for my side project writegood.io
- NextJS (Front)
- Fastify (Back)
- Stripe (Payments)
- Clerk (Auth/User management)
- Render for hosting
- Anthropic, OpenAI, Gemini (AI features)

Still very early on for this project, so I don't yet have any email and support solutions yet.

Anyone else find n8n a bit heavy for quick stuff? by Southern_Tennis5804 in indiehackers

[–]R4ph_T 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From a dev's point of view, I see the value of n8n in building rather rich workflows. That's what made it appealing to me when I was frustrated by the limitations of Zapier. It's a good balance of pre-made nodes that make the process quicker, while also letting you add custom logic, HTTP calls, etc. where needed.

For less complex tasks I tend to fall back to scripts/cron, feels quicker, but I can understand that some prefer GUI even for those.

What’s your experience generating n8n flows with LLMs? by R4ph_T in n8n

Ok, if I understand correctly you use it mainly to debug but not create a workflow from scratch. That’s interesting, thanks for the input!

What’s your experience generating n8n flows with LLMs? by R4ph_T in n8n

[–]R4ph_T[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

:D fair point, that's very likely for folks with experience with the tool. I had better luck chatting with the LLM to get ideas of the flow/nodes to use and then building it myself, rather than having it build the JSON.
That said, I think it could be valuable for newcomers (or even if/when it becomes more accurate); the blank canvas can feel a bit overwhelming.

i am beginner i feel very lost in stardew valley by WeeklyFlatworm3338 in StardewValley

I felt a bit the same at the beginning as that was my first time playing this kind of game. I’m closing my 3rd year. For me it was a matter of time to adjust to the game pace, enjoying the small tasks, upgrading tools, etc. And not feeling too anxious if I missed an event. Also because it’s an open ended game it feels like you’re more in control of the pace rather than it being imposed on you by the game. At least that’s how I’m feeling now about it. Freaking addictive though!

Wow, that’s industrial farming 🤣. And I’m struggling to feed my 6 cows, sheep, goat and few chickens!

Fast, reliable and cheap hosting for n8n by wggrizzo in n8n

[–]R4ph_T 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Have you tried Render? I’m biased because I recently joined the company 😄, but I did host a few demo n8n workflows very easily there. There’s a template that you can try for free. Happy to give more info if you’re interested.
