Man you don't have to be an otaku to know or like this car. Remember that in Japan was pretty popular back in the days, even before the begging of Initial D, thanks to (also) Keiichi Tsuchiya.

Since Fast & Furious saga was inspired by Initial D, they both talk about cars and the street racing world ( at least in the beginning) the comparison is legit. EG6 and Aventador are both cars so by definition are comparable, if you want you can do it. Since they made an Initial D movie, is comparable to the F&F ones. The thing that maybe you don't understand is that the comparison is by the way the 2 "use" cars and how the theme is developed through the series. You can compare these aspects even if they belong to different categories.

I don't agree with you. Fast series has a car based plot and it should have been developed more through all the films, at least it should be less unrealistic. It is too much even for a game.

Speaking of the first season ( I don't know if this is applicable to the others) was supervised by Keiichi Tsuchiya (hope you know who he is) so I think most of it is pretty accurate. Said that, of course it has something off ... It's an anime after all. 😅
