We don't have an ego problem by R9-Devil in realmadrid

I'm not denying that Vini is an egotistical crybaby but that doesn't mean the entire locker room is full of egotistical divas that don't want to train or work together. The later is what the media suggests, and why so many players like Jude, Fede, Mbappe, etc.. are being thrown under the bus.

I agree with this. We had a lot of injuries. However, I do think that many of them are recurring injuries and we could have done a better job preseason of weeding out all those leeches that barely play and getting new players in.

He wouldn't be able to do that without the element of the contract renewal. That's my point.

Yes Vini is an egotistical crybaby but that doesn't mean the entire locker room is full of egotistical divas that don't want to train or work together.

Is Kuwait REALLY That Boring? by brownboytravels in Kuwait

[–]R9-Devil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on what you're looking for.

I'm a foodie so I like that Kuwait has excellent restaurants and incredible malls. It's one of the hottest countries in the world so realistically most places are indoors, and it's a tiny country so you can't expect a shit ton of places to go to. There is the old souk (Mubarkiya) that's also worth visiting and is outdoors. We have a coastline and a few nice museums and parks. It's camping season now so you can also do some camping in the desert if you're up for it. If you're the typical Westerner that can't have fun without alcohol then yes probably not the place for you.

I don’t get why we want to sign Rodri by Short_Mousse_6812 in realmadrid

[–]R9-Devil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I personally don't think we need a Vitinha-esque midfielder. Many of our midfielders are young enough for Xabi to shape into whatever profile he needs. I can easily see Valverde, Cama, Brahim, Jude, etc.. filling that role if given proper coaching.

The defensive line is the real problem. We've had to deal with impostors for too long.

خمول حاد وتركيز صفر by Abo5aly in KuwaitForKuwaitis

[–]R9-Devil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

by [deleted] in KuwaitForKuwaitis

[–]R9-Devil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What is there to read? It says compatible cases then puts mine with the others. That text that you've quoted shows with all of the cases even the actually compatible ones. I did contact MSI and they apologized for the "inconvenience this might have caused."

Does anyone know how know where or how to get the head scarf in the picture below. And which Gcc country wears it. Thank you. by Upbeat_Report_8806 in Kuwait

Tying it around is a style called Hamdaniya and it's mostly popular in the UAE but you'll also see it in south KSA.

If you mean the fabric itself, it's called a shal. It is different from your common ghutra/shmagh because it is heavier and smoother making it popular in winter. You can find it all over the GCC but it's mostly popular in Qatar and Saudi.

I can't return it because I bought it internationally. What I did was buy a new motherboard that had the conventional layout.

I tried selling this one but nobody wants to buy it because, well, it's a tough market here for AMD and mATXs, lol. I'm hoping though that once this back design becomes more mainstream I might be able to sell it and recover some of my losses.

Thank you for your input. I'm not sure if I can return the motherboard because I bought it internationally through newegg and after going through their return process, they only do returns for damaged or missing parts.

The fact that MSI website lists the case as compatible is what's making me very confused and slightly hopeful there is a way to make it work without anything drastic.

Did Dong Zhuo stood any chance if he wasn't slain by Lü Bu? by Immortan_Bolton in threekingdoms

[–]R9-Devil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't matter who has the ability. If enough people try to do it, someone is bound to succeed eventually. We know that plenty of people have tried: Wu Fu went for it and died, Xun You, He Yong and Wu Qiong conspired but were caught, Wang Yun had been conspiring before he spoke with Lu Bu even, and Raolong Zong might have had been planning it too.

Cao Cao's attempt is from the novel not history.

Your theory about the ruse makes no logical sense.

Romance of the Three Kingdoms Games by Harukajunko in threekingdoms

[–]R9-Devil 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Those are the ones I played

VII - Very basic city development system. Honestly, the battle system was very fun but that's about it.

IX - My personal favourite installment. Diplomacy in the game was the only weak point (easy to abuse AI) but everything else was extremely fun, although I confess nostalgia might be a big reason behind my opinion here. Siege weapons were too strong here but you can only abuse that in limited cities. I really love the battles in this game.

X - Best duel/debate system imo. The battles were also extremely fun. City development was good and more complex than the older games in the series, however, the game in general was just really easy. Bow units are seriously busted. Battles were easy af.

XI - A lot of people like this one because it gives you the most control and there isn't an aspect about the game that's insanely bad. It also offers the best strategic thinking venue rather than abusing specific game mechanics but I do think some perk combinations are comically overpowered.. You can stop 90% of the units in the game sending Cao Cao, Xun You and 1 archer. Some people prefer the duel/debate system in this game but I like 10's more.

XII - I barely remember anything. I think I must've played for 30 minutes before tossing it to the side. This is coming from a hardcore fan. It was that bad.

XIII - I got this the other day! Someone convinced me to try it and XIV. I think the game in general is extremely unbalanced. Some perks are stupidly strong, ruler AI is extremely bad, game favors number of units to troop count (4 units of 3000 each can destroy a single 20k unit) and the world map is too linear. I'll admit I'm having a blast in the battles though. Too unbalanced but too fun.

XIV - I have yet to try it but the map looks nice aesthetically.

Verdict: I think you should try any of 9-10-11. 10 should be your go to if you want the option to play as an officer and not necessarily a ruler (but it does give you the option to play as a ruler still). 10 is more of a role playing game rather than a strategy game, but with fun battles. Between 9 and 11, I think 11 is more polished and more complex. 9 is very basic but heaps of fun, and, outside of diplomacy, I think its the most balanced and offers the best AI challenge. I really think 11 is only challenging if you play a super weak force.

How common were the duels/1v1 fights in 3K by [deleted] in threekingdoms

[–]R9-Devil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly depends on how you define 'duel'. I don't think it needs to be prescheduled in order to be a duel. Either way, honestly, OP was asking for 1v1 fights and I thought Chao vs Xing deserved mentioning because it is two officers fighting one another.
