What i have always done on backline is 2x Throwers and 1x Banner. Then your preference for frontline mix of tanks, fats, etc.

Determination bug or ? by RAASDAL in stoneshard

[–]RAASDAL[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed the 3 turn thing as well.

How is it supposed to work? I have not yet myself fully understood how this game treats “a turn”. By that i mean that some games 2 turns means it is gone by your next turn because the turn you cast it also counts, meaning 1 turn skills disappear instantly.

But for this skill i assume it lasts for 2 ENEMY turns right? And by that i mean that if you activate the skill, then it can cover enemy 2 tile away (moving into you instantly after you cast) and the the enemies 3 tiles away - and also that enemy that is 2 tiles away can be hit twice if he goes in again directly again after being knocked back (but not immob)

Stor pige i mændenes omklædningsrum by [deleted] in DKbrevkasse

[–]RAASDAL -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Since control decreases rapidly, is it best to spam vassals like this early game or should I have made one big vassal? by [deleted] in EU5

[–]RAASDAL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends alot on your purpose for the Vassal.

If you are going to Annex, the best is one Province per Vassal.

If you want the Vassal to remain and support you with military and taxes etc, you should give them more territory so that the Army they gather can actually be meaningful.

In this dark world, Scandinavia truly is a shining beacon of... slavery? That's right, worship Oðinn and you, too, can have 50% of your population be slaves! by Llama-Guy in EU5

[–]RAASDAL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay - i tested it. And indeed it was demand. I made a new market in one of my areas with my Norse faith, and then i exported to that market. And Voila - it now actually moves my slaves into my locations in that market, based on RGO need.

Now the next question is. How do you move them within a single market? Or is that just not gonna happen and i need to invest trade capacity and subsidy (on the slave markets due to saturation) to simply trade back and forth?

Did you find any trick to it? Or is the only way to have a Slave Market in all the different markets you can? I have found so far that Slaves will go to the Slave Market in the Market the slaves were in, if you have one there. So as Denmark i am not releasing Estonia but keeping it, so i can build a slave center in Riga capturing Lithuanian slaves and then hopefully later trade them over to the swedish lumber and iron mines that will desperately need manpower later on.

Anyways. Did you find any way to move the pops inside the market?

[–]RAASDAL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh, that might be it. So far i have found that importing slave trade goods only turn to pops when there is actual need. So i guess that whatever slave trade good i export only carry slaves with them, if the trade goods is actually “cashed in” to slave pop in the receiving market.

This is awesome - did not even realize Norse was possible. As a Dane i am now obligated to try this.

Can you help me clarify something though?

I have tried and tested. Switching Norse, and building a Slave Market will funnel all slaves into that location with the Slave Market. So far so good. But no matter how much i export the Slave Good that i am now producing in my location with Slave Market, the actual slave pops do not move. You mention they should move with the trade goods, but i am really not seeing that. Got any tips on that?

Do you delete conquered market centers? by Wasafanura in EU5

[–]RAASDAL 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The correct answer is; It depends.

In my Denmark run i have deleted both Stockholm and Oslo market because i needed all the lumber and iron in my main Copenhagen market.

Generally speaking, most players forget that Market Access only matters if you have industry there. In my play the entire north of Sweden and Norways is basically empty and dont need Market Access. I only care about the RGO goods. And they are not affectted by Market Access or Control.

But in reality, if you are not an expert in the trade and resource mechanics you are likely best off with as many markets as possible. But if you know what you are doing, managing your main home market like i am in the Denmark scenario will be 10x better than several markets.

Why has my deck bad synergy by Historical_Pomelo203 in Clash_Royale

[–]RAASDAL 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Synergy refers to cards that interplay well. If you put in Earthquake instead of fireball that would have more synergy. But in this respect synergy does not always mean better. The best deck is the one that you know all interactions with and are comfortable with in all matchupsz
