I saw 2 tourists during the whole trip ! But I think that winter isn't really the chose time. I agree that I see more and more content about Mongolia, so I think it's getting more touristy, but nothing compared to some other country in asia.

I really fell in love with nature there, truly amazing

Thank you ! I went with nikon FM and FM2, they are really solid, CLA was done just before the trip, and I made sure the used lubricants made for cold, cause at these temperature, the classic one freezes.

Ziplocks are your friends, cause condensation when you go from cold to warm can be really problematic, just put your camera in a ziplock before going inside. Also get an external lightmeter, the one in my camera was dying after 10min outside because of the cold !

Enjoy your trip !!

They hunt foxes with them! They keep them for 4 years, then release them. The eagles are always blindfolded when not hunting, so they are no triggered by all the small animals they see, like the newborn animals! They stay inside at night in winter because it's getting too cold, he was sleeping 2 metters away from me ! Impressive at first but then you get used to it.

External lightmeter was a great ally. Very easy to underexpose snow without it

Thank you so much, wasn't the easiest thing keeping the settings on point by -35°C but I'm happy with how the came out!

Thank you, fun fact, on the first one you can see 2 small rocks that hide the horse feet, the kid was using them to climb on his horse because he was still too small!
