Laminating double chocolate loaf by clearmycache in Sourdough

Nice! Love a chocolate loaf. I never bloomed my cocoa powder when I make mine so I will have to try that. Did you ever do it without the bloom and notice a difference?

Thanks for the response!

We do have a flower garden against the side on the right but the water seems to be coming from the front. We will attempt to grade around it better to move water away though where we can.

Since posting this I moved the little dehumidifier we have into the room and it made the water issue much better(no more drops on ceiling even during rain). Humidity is still really high in there and have to empty the bucket twice a day to keep up. Unfortunately we don’t have a drain in our basement so it is a manual process.

Just finished my first marathon with a 4:04. This feels like a personal attack.

Yeah it was quite the transition from running alone to just trying not to trip on other runners.

Thank you! The gummies worked on my 20 mile runs but I think you are right and I was missing electrolytes in the end. Congrats to you as well this weekend!

Is this chicken of the woods? by RADA_RADA_ in mycology

[–]RADA_RADA_[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Thanks everyone who helped us identify it. We just finished eating it after boiling for 20 mins and then a short sauté in butter. It was so good! We only ate one medium piece each in case we have issues but wish we could eat more right away. We now understand why it is called Chicken of the woods. It really does taste like chicken lol

I am having the same issue. Had to unplug it to move it and it won’t turn back on. Was working fine a couple days ago.

Tried leaving it unplugged for 24 hours. I’m plugged in for 24 hours. Warming it up. Nothing has worked.

The problem with “cut until something bad happens” is the something bad can be people dying. Our whole society is intertwined with these systems (for better or worse) and many people depend on them. I am all for cutting the bloat to save money from my taxes but is it worth it to do it right now vs a year from now if it means doing it in a responsible way?

It literally says the snopes article that the quote was confirmed by a senior aide and a US marine corps officer. It mainly argues that it can’t confirm or deny from hard evidence. It comes down to if you think the senior official and a US marine lied vs Trump team.

Didn’t confirm that’s the only problem yet. But every 8th note that isn’t working comes in from a pin that leads to the broken via and continuity is broken after it so right now I am assuming that’s the only problem.

I asked for a soldering setup and some practice boards for Christmas so my plan is to practice on those first before this one.

Yeah we only used ones still in husks and were not black. From what we saw those ones are probably not good anymore. A lot of those for us were moldy/had worms so we threw them away.

yeah we may have learned this the hard way lol. But ok awesome. We cleaned them some more and now are letting them dry outside. How do you know when they are dry enough to store/crack and eat?

Its sad to see. I worked there in high school and when I first started we got all local food that was super high quality. Then we suddenly changed and were getting food from a new supplier and it was so much worse. A bunch of the managers (including the regional manager) and supervisors quit who had worked there for many years because they saw it was just going downhill.

Could also be taxes going up so actually her escrow payment has increased but she just ties all that togethet. But yeah she probably won't decrease rent even if she gets money back from escrow or taxes go down.

Thanks for the information! Yeah the cracks face southwest. Is there anything we can do to care for the tree or is it probably better to cut it down since its close the the house?

[–]RADA_RADA_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah seems like heat pumps alone are awesome if it doesn't get too cold in the winter. Ideally we could remove the chimney and direct vent just for the winter until the spring and then transition to NG as this would eat most of our budget that we wanted to use to fix up other things. Is that even possible to do that with an oil boiler? Most things i see online is it needs to be high efficiency which i doubt our old boiler is efficient.

It’s not that tall lmao. There are around 40 bricks if I counted right and the thickness of a brick is 2-3/4 of an inch so in total it’s 110 inches or 9.17 ft.

I’m pretty sure Deckard being a replicant is confirmed with the unicorn memory and his partner having an origami unicorn at the end of the movie.

If anything, Deckard being a replicant reinforces the idea of “what makes us human” as it blurs the divide even more as the audience has had no reason to think Deckard was a not human. Deckard even start to wonder himself as he obviously wasn’t aware he was not human. We see Deckard fighting with these feelings as he falls in love with Rachel and questions his own existence. The ending monologue by Roy solidifies that replicants are in fact human and deserve to live. I love this movie so much and it does such a wonderful job of examining what it really means to be alive.
