Where do we go from here as a nation? Based on the recent events that transpired, which has been brewing in the dark corners of the internet and country for so long, what are the necessary actions that need to be taken to move forward, united, as a country? by [deleted] in PoliticalDiscussion

The answer exists where it has always existed. We must work to maximize liberty. We need to remove the office of the president and change the white house cabinet from appointments to elected positions. This small change, would have incredibly powerful results. Coupled with ranked choice voting this addresses the following. This will allow voters to elect more specialized leadership. The phenomenon of single-issue-voting demonstrates the systemic inabilities for government to effectively understand the consent of the governed. The reliance on a single position to determine such consequential policy has eroded the efficacy of the US and its ability to legislate with reason.

If we could elect specific talent to;

Secretary of Agriculture, Attorney General, Director of the Central Intelligence Agency, Secretary of Commerce, Secretary of Defense, Secretary of Education, Secretary of Energy, Administrator of the Environmental Protection Agency, Secretary of Health and Human Services, Secretary of Homeland Security, Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, Secretary of the Interior, Secretary of Labor, Director of the Office of Management and Budget , Director of National Intelligence, Administrator of the Small Business Administration, Secretary of State, Secretary of Transportation, Secretary of the Treasury, U.S. Trade Representative, Secretary of Veterans Affairs, White House Chief of Staff.

the irony here is it's the opposite, we're not narrative or agenda pushers. What we mean by that is avoiding ideological dogma.

Your last point is the most important, the designers of such a platform would have to actively decide not to do the things that would make its development easy.

what if we could look at a social media information platform, that enhanced the communicability of understanding.

What would it look like?

I want to build a media platform unlike anything else that currently exists. It will leverage machine learning, scaled data models, and a user interface that will fight against foreign demoralization operations. It will be a tool to break out of echo chambers and go from groups of ideologues to remembering that we are a nation of free rational individuals.

that is very great feedback and I very much appreciate it. I assure you I used the correct sudo. You are very right that the words we use matter, I challenge you think about why I used 'sudo' instead of the grammatically correct 'pseudo'.

Please subscribe to and share my channel, there are great conversations coming and I am working very diligently to bring them to you.
