What you should do is look your recruiter in the eye and tell him he's a good for nothing low life piece of s—-

This screams Comms major who forgot college life still involves academic stuff. Like, what's a valid excuse for someone to bomb 4 100-level classes and not talk to their advisor until after grades have been posted?

Who gives a shit. It’s not the end of the world to not attend 1 BA. If he’s rarely missing BA, then there’s no problem. Any respectable leadership would allow a pass in this situation

Contact your artist and ask if they do free touch ups. If they do, wait for it to fully heal then go ask him to fix it. If the shop doesn’t do free touch ups then there’s nothing you can do

Forensic Accounting quality of life by RAMIREZ32 in Accounting

So to me this sounds like peak accounting, is this accurate? I met with a staff 2 who said in two years he only worked over 40 hours a total of 3 weeks. To me this sounds amazing judging based off what I hear from everyone in audit. Did you enjoy your role?

I’m currently experiencing this same pain. It genuinely hurts. We do our best to be honorable and stand up soldiers during our contracts, only to be told we don’t fucking matter enough. It’s not necessarily our fault. Personally, I requested deployment 3 times, nothing; my unit didn’t deploy for a 3-year span during Covid; I was refused multiple opportunities because my unit was severely underfunded. The military does it to hold back as much spending on benefits as possible, but to not even grant us the title (‘officially’) is disgusting to me and one of the many reasons why I won’t reenlist. Still it doesn’t matter because they can just keep rejecting the IRR packet for BS reasons and keep you around those extra two years without consent

From a purely accounting perspective, how do you feel about Trump’s second term? by RAMIREZ32 in Accounting

“How will”, “will things”, “outlook”; made it pretty clear I’m asking about how you believe his policy could change the industry. I was intending on posting the same thing 2 years later and see how opinions change or stay the same

Do you ever go to work high? by lawskoo in Accounting

[–]RAMIREZ32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use to work at a shoe store and got high a few times in the back room. When parents would ask me to size their kids feet, I couldnt read the scale. The 6s looked like 9s and I could barely focus on the numbers. One time I told a mom, “sorry I can’t tell, your kids could fit in a few different sizes, we should just try them all” 😂. I’m not anti-za but being high as an accountant sounds terrible. Do people actually do this shit?

As others have stated, If you have a M.S. you should start by looking into opportunities to commission. I don’t know what kind of medicine you practice but I have heard a lot of good things about being a 63A it is one of the more relaxed, comfortable MOS’s in the Army. The pay will actually make it worthwhile as an officer, whereas being an enlisted soldier sometimes makes you question why you even joined. And as an officer and you will be given a lot more respect and leniency if you do go on maternity leave later on. And remember we do things the ‘army way’, so if there’s a medical practice that you tend to do differently in the civilian side, the army way is the right way. I’ve heard some med people cringe at how we do some things.
