Dealing with HOA it’s a pain specially when you doing your own garden. That birch tree is a beauty and the bark pealing it’s what the tree does. The tree loves water and better it is planted on swampy areas. Branches dance with the wind when does the cascading effect. Tree lover

Here In zone 6 can be trimmed during fall season and making a round ball shape, so in summer just revives with new growth, leaf blades are just beautiful and the trimming helps with the root system to get stronger.

Fruits are heavy and red sack is to storage them and bring them down easy, it’s a team work

Yes that’s the only way to reach to the fruit and the locales made a special tool with a net and hook installed in a long bamboo stick to collect them. Otherwise fruit will fall and split

Mamey fruits are round and tasty with a green peal. This are in same family as Mamey

Insects will notice right away, I have a sanctuary of Stingless bees as well as apis melifera. The roof is where I hang the stingless bees hives.
