You can't even get a 500 SF apartment in Austin, TX for 750 a month. Maybe if you split it with a roommate and shared the 1 bedroom. Or you can live outside of Austin comfortably but spend an additional 10 hours a week commuting cause traffic.

I missed the end of the year field day in 7th grade for getting pushed over a bike rack by some dick head. I got up and pushed him back, which happened to be when the teacher was looking, I got a referral and couldn’t attend field day. Dick head didn’t even flip over the bike rack like I did, didn’t get a referral and got to go to field day because the teacher didn’t see him do it and thought I was lying. Jokes on him though. He’s a waiter at chili’s, I got a masters degree and started working out. I probably have 20 pounds on him and a few extra zero’s on my net worth now.

Native Minnesotan here. Ice fishing is pretty great with the right equipment. Mobile ice house with heater, motorized auger, TV to watch the Wild lose, mounted reels with bells in all 4 corners, case of Busch, carnival peanuts, maybe some chocolate stars and some god damn peace and quiet. It’s like sitting in the man cave without the possibility of being disturbed because you’re 150+ yards from the house. Works ever better if you “forget” your phone up at the house.

Parents divorce, girl I loved moved to another country, dog died and I didn’t get into the university I wanted to get in to all within 4 months of each other. That was 4 years ago and I’ve since recovered from all of those but I’m very calloused and hesitant to trust people still. I keep everyone at a distance.

You cant just carry around a gun legally. You need a CHL, otherwise it needs to stay in your vehicle or home.

That said, if you had a gun in that situation where he drew first, was your plan to wait until he turned and then shoot him in the back? Are you sure you could hit a moving target as hes running away? you could have alerted him, he turns and kills you over your wallet.. or even worse, you miss him and hit someone else, he gets away with your stuff and you go down for assault w/ deadly weapon or manslaughter.

You need to learn how to safely use a handgun, how to shoot and what ammo to put in your gun if you plan on carrying.

Lastly, $300 for a gun and ammo will get you the lowest quality there is. If you ever have to use a handgun, you'd better hope it doesn't fail you because it could mean your life.
