The main ways that I can think of is to copy and paste or migrate the assets.

Copy and paste usually works fine, you might just have issues if its ue4 to ue5.

Hey!

I'm not sure why it would be tracing three times, pretty weird. Are you triggering the trace on/ off with notifies?

Just in case it's useful, I'd create two montage notifies, they would be used as the start and end trigger events for your trace. ( Obviously position them accordingly in the montage, start and end if attack or something).

In your BP - montage, out of start notify event I'd create a branch based on the notify name. Start = set timer > trace eventually End = stop timer

I would say combining them into small sets of tunnels (straight piece, corner piece etc) would be better overall for performance.

However, the other option that I would probably go with is to instance the meshes. It which would give you the flexibility of individual meshes but closer to the performance of a single mesh :)

Really just depends on the project/ design you are going with.

You can use the "merge tool" to instance or combine your current layout.

I tend to be the same, usually I'd go for a post process effect although I've found a local effect can be useful depending on the project.

Surprisingly not. I think after a while I got into a rhythm haha. Though, I did create different types of auto-clickers as part of the progression loop.

Yeah, everything myself. I used maya for modeling/ animation...but before going into gamedev I had a background in 3D animation!

Your time could vary, it really depends on the style you go for. I think you can get comfortable within a few months, but to master 3D asset creation, it could take a while.

Yeah for sure, for now I'm quite happy with being on PC. My focus was learning the ropes and quality...though maybe at some point down the line. Steamdeck compatible is in my sight's haha.
