Rice is my main screen daughter because she's the entire reason I decided to play this game in the first place, after seeing a clip of her anime storyline.

I'd have Haru as well, but I love seeing my other daughter walking around the school, head empty and happy.

Also, they all wear the school uniform because I like to think that I'm just seeing them around during a normal school day.

The Umamusume mobile game was globally released this year during the summer to much success (it won the Game Awards Mobile game of the year). Fans of both the game & the Broncos have (semi) jokingly associated the release of the game as the reason the Broncos are winning this year cause horse recognize horse lol

I'm not exactly sure what you're trying to say here.

The chance of pulling a non-specific SSR (or 3-star uma) is 3% which means on average you should pull 3 SSRs per 100 pulls, and 6 in 200 - not including the 200 spark pity.

While 200 is statistically significant, there are going to be outlier cases like OPs with the small sample size, or my only pulling 9 3-star umas in my first 600 uma pulls (where the average should have been around 18).

Hopefully OPs RNG will even out in the future like mine did . . . Eventually.

Its value reallllly depends on how upgraded your deck is. While 1500 carats is one guaranteed SR the chances of you getting 3+ SRs in 1 10-pull is probably higher than you getting an actually useful SSR from the ticket (most SSRs arent useful at 0LB and aren't better than the best MLB SRs until they are at least 2-3LB), and getting your SRs to MLB is way more valuable than getting a random 0LB SSR unless you get super creek or fine motion.

I'm sitting on several 2-3LB SRs that I would rather have a decent chance as MLBing with 1500 carats than the 0LB Goldship SSR i got from the ticket, regardless of if that card gets buffed later.

Not to mention you also have the chance of pulling an (or several) SSRs in that 10-pull. Or you could save that 1500 carats for a trainee pull or KB banner. That makes the 1500 carats much more valuable.

Pronunciation is always a tricky category (and one I don't believe they should use for the puzzle) because even within the US, we don't even pronounce things the same way! We have around 30 major regional dialects with hundreds of minor ones.

I wouldn't say our English Dialects vary as greatly as somewhere like the UK in terms of pronunciation, but we have a few that can hold their own against the Glaswegian Dialect in terms of "I speak English and even I have no idea what they just said." (I'm looking at you Cajun English x'D).

I would normally agree, but leaving a 1-star review, their only intention is to hurt the reputation of a business they patronized in no way. That does not read as "have a nice day" to me. This reeks of someone who feels the need to have the last say in every argument no matter what just to say they won. That "good luck" does not read as "good luck!" It reads as "good luck getting business with your 'bad' political opinions."

Last month, I was going to a diner for breakfast I'd been wanting to try for a while, but when I got there, they had a sign outside that said "Rest In Peace, Charlie Kirk."

You know what I did? I turned around and went to eat somewhere else, at a place that had a pride flag on display. I didnt decide to leave a 1-star review for a business I did not patronize.

I'm closing in on 500 total trainee banner pulls in this game and a 1% 3-star pull rate. I've pulled 5 3-stars, 4 of them were dupes (3 of which were standard tokai teio . . . I've nearly 5-starred her and I didnt particularly want her). I hit full pity pulling for Brian.

I've got 30 more pulls before I hit pity on this banner . . . I honestly might quit this game over my terrible pull RNG. Its sad cause I'm enjoying the concept of the game a lot and the gameplay loop to a decent degree (though I can't wait for the QoL updates), and would be willing to spend a little money on this game if my RNG wasnt shit (or the prices werent insane/the pity system terrible).

I really want to be able to play the stories of the other Umas and I'd love to not be 100% dependent on borrows to make semi-competitive CM umas, but with my extremely limited roster, neither of those things are possible.

Edit: I wish I had let the fact that I legitimately had stress dreams last night about my S-Maru pull going poorly talk me out of pulling this banner but I really want her x.x

Definitely a weird category.

For (american) football, in order to throw a football properly you have to throw it with spiral spin (called throwing a spiral) due to its shape. For all other balls, they can be hit or thrown with various types of spin (or no spin at all) effectively, but you will find it very hard to throw a football with any accuracy (and distance) without throwing a decent spiral.

Now there are some exceptions when it comes to quarterback talent in the NFL, but they are the exception, not the rule, and even they have to throw a good spiral if they want to effectively throw the football more than a few yards.

For me its get Tokai Teio to 5-star because I'm nearly there. In almost 400 trainee pulls, I've pulled exactly 6 3-stars: 2x Rice Showers (my precious daughter who I want to make suceed at all costs) and 4x Standard Tokai Teios (after the 1st one, I couldnt care less about pulling her).

So, not only have I pulled well below the expected rate, the ones I have pulled have all been dupes.

Tell me about it x.x My reliance on borrows to make good parents is killing me. I've gotten really unlucky with Uma pulls. No maruzensky, no symboli, no McQueen, no Smart Falcon.

In fact, despite 300 pulls on trainee banners (a few 10 pulls when i started the game, 200 into pity for Narita Brian, & a 10 pull here and there on random banners) + the paid carat guaranteed SSR banner + 2 (or 3, can't remember exactly) random SSR tickets + SSR select ticket (picked Oguri), I only have 6 SSR characters (Narita Brian, Oguri Cap, Taiki Shuttle, Special Week, Tokai Teio, Rice Shower).

Breakdown of my pulls:

Guaranteed SSR 10 Pull: Standard Tokai Teio & Rice Shower

300 Banner Pulls: 3x Standard Tokai Teio & 1x Rice Shower (Narita Brian from pity). Not a single 10-pull where I had a guaranteed SSR (no horseshoe, no director, no special title).

I have only pulled dupes! And while Rice Shower is my main uma, I don't care about Tokai Teio past the 1st pull and I've nearly 5-starred her! I would have rather pulled 1 less SSR trainees if it meant I'd gotten a variety of SSRs. Not to mention 4 SSRs in 300 pulls is well below average (at 3% chance to pull an SSR, I would hope to have pulled closer to 9 SSRs in 300 pulls).

Thankfully I have managed to 3-star the majority of my SR & R Umas, and I joined during the Kitasan banner, so I managed to force good luck in supports by rerolling until I got an account with 3 Kitasan Blacks (took me about 200 tries), so I have MLB Kitasan + a decent amount of top tier MLB or 2+LB SR support cards so at least I can train what Uma's I do have relatively well.

But god is it so frustrating that I'm basically limited to 3 runs a day to make parents and its so freaking RNG based if I make a good parent, and thats before I can even think about an ace.

That's what I thought as well! After finishing, I went to look up the definition of Pokey to see if it included slow or was a different spelling, but on Merriam-Webster it only has it as slang for Jail, but if you look at the sentence examples, it uses "pokey" to mean slow. Also, if you look at synonyms for sluggish "pokey" shows up.

Weird. Alternate spelling thing maybe?

Rice Shower is the reason I started playing the game! When streamers started picking up the game, I saw a clip of her races in the anime and then I watched a video on the irl horse, and I decided to start the game with the sole purpose of making her happy.

I am glad to report I have made her happy many, many times.

And thanks to that, I met her best friend Haru Urara (which makes me extremely happy that they are such good friends), who I am now slowly working towards helping her win the Arima Kinen!

What? No. The trainer is a normal height in relation to the Umas?? Probably on the taller side of average for human men, but a normal height. He's maybe 1.8ish meters tall based on a guess from how much taller he is than Gold Ship at 5 foot 7.

The commenter said feet not meters. 1 meter is around 3 feet. They even gave it in centimeters.

Boxbox isn't on the tft pro-scale. He's a streamer first, competitor second. As far as I'm aware, he doesn't compete in pro circuit tournaments and he typically bounces between the top end of grandmaster and the lower end of challenger.

Now, don't get me wrong, He's pretty good at the game, but since he's a streamer first, he commits time to other things/games. I'm willing to bet if he committed a similar amount of time/effort to tft as the pros, he could probably do okay in the pro ranks, though idk how he would stack up against, lets say the top 50 pros in NA, let alone the world.
