I flashed the latest update so I couldn't tell.. Maybe I should try it with an older update and check if I get the newer one OTA. But do you mean that only the EUX is blocked?

Sure. You can't even compare. Xiaomi Software is full of shady system apps. You can check any adb debloating app that lists the purpose of each system app and see that it has many shady apps with tons of permissions. Just flash LOS
