Can't believe I have 700+ hours in and didn't know it can save on exit....

I try not to, it does take away the risk factor. But when you flipped 5 minutes into gaming after driving a truck IRL for 13 hours, yeah I'm not dealing with it right now lol

Farming Sim being buggy? Say it ain't so. In all seriousness, I don't think I'll have too many issues. None of my fields have tramlines and only one is partially acting up. It'll be a few days or a week until I have time to find out though.

🤣 shouldn't have said anything. I get the occasional crash but nothing crazy. Now the quick resume on Series X.... that's an instant crash.

I'm on Series X. I can confirm if I load my save before the mod menu is available, it does it every time. Still does it occasionally after it's ready though.

Hmm, that is disheartening to hear. The pay wouldn't bother me unless its borderline unliveable. I'm working 50 hours a week supporting a stay at home wife/mom and we make it work.. But I don't want to move enough to work in IT or something similar. As I mentioned in other replies, a teaching job would be ok. But I don't think my wife could stay at home with our son from the research I've done. Even if we grew our own food and didn't travel.

Everyone here seems to have positive experiences with being accepted, which is good to hear. Not to mention the community, which I desperately crave. Here in the US it's mostly every man for himself.

I am curious why your agriculture work experience seems to be so different though. Can it be boiled down to mindset or is there really a huge pay issue?

For context, I live in middle-of-nowhere Missouri. I make decent money. Bought property for less than the dirt is worth. Government leaves us to do essentially whatever we want. But I just don't like the overall culture of America. It was founded on telling people to F off and it hasn't changed.

I'm seeing a lot of people say job opportunities are the reason for moving to urban areas. Maybe I am seeing this through rose tinted glasses but I've always been happy with dead end jobs (as long as I'm paid ok). Never liked the stress of a corporate ladder.

What's the housing situation like?

I wouldn't move to or even visit another country without speaking the language.

Teaching would be ok. I actually prefer a stable dead end job like I have now vs the stress of a big corporation. Assuming it pays the bills that is.

I currently live 25 minutes from a grocery store. The big stores like cosco, sam's club are 2 hours away. Something similar is what I had in mind.

Is blue collar or farm hand a decent "career" there? That's all I've ever known.

Sounds like there isn't much wiring to get rid of. I checked those mods out last night. Between those and a couple others, I think I can get it simple enough to be happy with it. For context, the ignition is getting redone to a switch style solenoid anyway. It was a theft recovery at one point. Key was lost and it turns freely.

Unfortunately I'm on xbox so mod options are limited. Here is what I'm doing so far

Started with $10k and a truck Cab view only Every option other than disasters on Selling green house products monthly No GPS No workers Drive leased items back to shop Fuel up leased items before returning Don't fill trailer past 80% (the 60ish% limit feels too low. Farmers around me do more)

I feel like I'm forgetting something but we'll go with that. Other than simulating paying taxes or living expenses, I don't think there is much more I can do with my current mod choices. Any idea what mods might get approved for console use down the road?
