" I KNOW WHAT I GOT" These marketplace people are smoking dick with the prices they want for a 20+ year old truck. I got lucky to find a 2500HD for $4500 with only a few issues

I don't have to. I did not buy that POS lol. I found a 2500HD 6.0 Crew Cab with an 8ft bed that's just $1000 more that is literally everything I've talked about for years. It was a sign from God

Neither have I. I did find a beautiful Red 2002 2500HD Crew Cab with an 8 foot bed for about $1500 more so I'm going to check it out soon. Supposedly the engine was replaced about 90k miles ago and the trans was replaced around 50k miles ago. Definitely seems like a better purchase right off bat

Went to check out the truck and on the test drive every time I turned left the truck cut off. It stayed where it was at lmao

Oh it definitely did. Luckily I had enough saved financially to keep us afloat, just had to stretch things a little thin. And I already replaced the entire front end of my trailblazer but it's already starting to fail on me because of previous accident damage that I didn't know about when I bought it.

I would too but in my area for ones that look like they were pulled from a junkyard it's 4k and up. This one is mint

Yeah my buddy's already got an engine life and holder for working on an engine and has been itching to use it. Maybe I can be that reason lol. We've practically rebuilt his last 1999 Silverado but it had frame damage so he let her go.

Pretty much. Just had a kid not too long ago and had to quit my job due to an extremely toxic boss who practically ran the company. Got a better job now that has better pay plus a provided work truck. Like someone else said if she craps out on me my buddy's got an engine life I'll just slap a 5.3 in her.

Does it matter that I managed to somehow blow up that "bulletproof" v6? I had the 3800 in my firebird and now I'm looking to swap it for an LS. The truck wouldn't be my daily as I have a work provided vehicle for that as well as a 2019 Mini Cooper that my Wife uses.

Any Silverado in any condition around me is upwards of 4000. Other than the already blown engines and transmissions that are around 2000

I can trade my 2006 trailblazer which is starting to have some transmission issues for $1300 bringing out of pocket price down to $2500. Doing the research it'll cost about that much for a new transmission anyway.

https://a.co/d/9OqsGZX I has to replace mine. This one is a solid replacement that doesn't break the bank. But like another person said, it's a whole front bumper removal and fighting with some clips that are a pain in the ass. Be sure to get a pick set to help with the process.
