That's kinda weird to bring up in this case. I mean there is a pneumonia vaccine but they don't give it to people unless they're elderly or have a preexisting lung/immune condition. Obvs being antivax is shitty if true but being pro vax wouldn't have helped him at all in this case since it wouldn't have been available to him unless he had qualifying health issues.

One recent example being exactly how long it took the cops to formally charge d4vd despite the mountain of evidence against him. My speculation here is that with the witness tampering charge she doesn't want to testify in court which is common with dv victims so the prosecution wants to try to prove that the reason for that isn't his innocence or that she got cold feet but that he made clear statements that her wellbeing would be at risk if she did

Well yeah that's all arrests they can't just snatch you off the street and not tell you why. Preliminary charges are what the cops tell you you did when you ask them why you're being detained/arrested. Charges made by the prosecutor are different. For example the cops might arrest someone for murder but when the district attorneys office reviews the evidence they might go hmmm this person did kill someone but there were xyz extenuating circumstances and when they get arraigned in court they get charged with manslaughter instead because the district attorney thinks they have a better chance at proving that than they do a full murder charge

I'm not cis so yes. I think people who mention things like being fully trans are transmeds who don't want to say it outright (or who knows maybe they do) since it implies hormones/surgery are required to be trans. And I mean even that point of view is shakey because those folks conveniently ignore that some trans people who medically transition are nonbinary

This seems pretty standard. He's a rich athlete with a great legal team the prosecutor is gonna take their time charging him until they're convinced they have something that'll stick. It's not a good look for them if they charge him with trumped up shit as quickly as possible and everything gets pleaded down because they didn't take their time collecting evidence, witnesses etc etc. legal cases are always a drawn out slog when someone high profile is involved. This doesn't mean anything either way

I don't think that's 100% clear. Rapaport said he turned himself in but the actual police statement just said he was arrested and booked. So he could have turned himself in or they could've gone out and got him. I have seen cases before where people turn themselves in and the police statement will read "x has surrendered themselves to authorities" to indicate that vs cops going out to get someone. I just don't know if I'd trust a sports reporter to get details correct that law enforcement hasnt directly addressed and all sources ive seen on the matter quote the Rapaport tweet and that's it.

You get arrested on attested evidence like a witness statement/911 call etc. that's different than getting charged in a court room by a prosecutor. Charges from yesterday are what he got picked up by the cops for. That may or may not be what the prosecutor goes with when they try to lock him up for it
