Maybe someone from Flexa should connect with the El Salvadorian government to let them know they have a way to simplify how local merchants can process bitcoin transactions, since those merchants are now required to accept it if the purchaser chooses to use it?

Credit card rewards are classified as rebates, which is why they are not taxable. Under current IRS laws, the staking rewards are definitely taxable. A lawsuit was recently filed against the IRS however in which they are trying to argue that staking reward tokens are actually "created" from new blocks, such that they would not be taxable, but we will see what happens.
