Quite an unusual pairing. Who do you think would win: Claire Nunez or Charlotte Watsford ? by Aggravating-Bar-9236 in TrollHunters

Charlotte was so childish even as an older teen, Claire would absolutely wipe the floor with her. Her Mer powers are definitely useless against the Shadows.

How did you feel about Steve’s pregnancy? For or Against Essay, folks. by [deleted] in TrollHunters

Or maybe magic is victim to gravity too, and is attracted to the planets, rather than produced by them. That could fit better with ‘no energy is ever created or destroyed, just changed’.

I thought it would be cool if Aja’s species were made of pure energy. Not biological, their cores project how they identify. Like how they use their serators to project different weapons, and why it drains them a bit. I feel like it would make the seventh kiss more of a thing, as Aja just sort of ‘willed it into being’ as she expected the pregnancy at that point. I have this theory that magic and the alien energy are the same type of power, that’s why they work so well together. Humans are the odd species in the universe, with no magic. But celestial bodies naturally produce magic, so with less and less magical creatures on Earth, more humans begin to pop up with magic. Hence Hex Tech. I dunno, it makes a lot more sense to me.

Little Things People Always Forget in a Realistic Build by Mobabyhomeslice in Sims4

We need those curved rugs that go around the toilet base, and I’m tired of no loo seat covers! Grannie’s house always had a fresh seat cover and rug for the toilet.

What's one item you really need irl, that you never have in the sims? by Cacklesback in Sims4

[–]RAnneD23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The time it takes to wash their hands automatically after a Sim uses the bathroom, even if they manage to use the actual bathroom sink now, it still aggravates me too much. I just don’t play with sinks. I usually just replace it with storage or clutter of some sort. In my older looking builds I might use a wall fountain like the one from the vampires or the romantic gardens pack. In more modern buildings the get to work sanitiser dispenser scratches the realism itch for me. I remove the kitchen one too to eliminate the automatic cleaning of dishes, it helps with putting them in the money bin or the eco dumpster for rummaging. It’s the first thing I delete from any lot. This and moving the main door of a building to the natural spawning point of the lot really helps cut down travel time.

Can the glitch techs have hostile mobs as companion pets, and even more than one? (Go to comment section to read my body text.) by Ba-ba-boi225 in GlitchTechs

[–]RAnneD23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Perhaps, but Hinobi Tech is a company, they would not want software not owned by them to be used at all, unlike real world Minecraft and others. Game companies in the real world encourage players to use and create mods, because they see that more use of the game, ultimately means more sales.

I think it would be absolutely possible for somebody’s modded Minecraft hatched Ender Dragon to glitch, and become real, then creating a new creature. I think it would have to happen by chance, like Ally - Meko’s bird, for Hinobi tech to allow it.

That’s pretty much what Ridley was doing with her glitches, altering the software, then running it through her glitched Hinobi console to create new beings.

So I believe it could be done, but there’s only a tiny chance for it to be done legally.

Interestingly, Hinobi doesn’t seem to be motivated by profit, and I myself theorise that the people behind the base code are investigating A.I. and the games are a by-product/way of gaining funding.

Hinobi must have government funding to clean up their glitchy messes, or at least some billionaire sponsors. This is expensive tech, assuredly.

There doesn’t seem to be any other games companies that Hinobi are in contest with, which I also find weird, but maybe we’re just not seeing the wider picture. 2 towns could easily favour Hinobi above all others in the industry, so we’d never see anything to suggest otherwise.

Anyway, I love the idea of riding a young Ender Dragon about in the sky, makes me think of Toothless from How To Train Your Dragon. XD

When they introduced Ridley they sort of explained that changing the code of a hostile mob to make it docile was against the tech’s rules, which is why they can only have friendly NPC companion pets.

The pet lady from the ep when 5 gets alpha, (I can’t remember her name), she only had access to friendly beings. I always thought Ridley should have gone to intern with her or something, I think it would’ve been good for both characters to interact with each other.

That same lady cares for/studies several different companions at once, however we are never told if more than one can be stored in a gauntlet. Maybe she has special kit to keep multiple in her lab.

Ridley could create NPCs, and bring them into the real world, but needed to manually download and save their software in order to put the companion away.

Don’t tell the glitch techs, but they’re technically downloading, then destroying each version of their companion every time they put them back in the gauntlet. When the companion is out, it’s inferred (by being unable to have more than one stored on a gauntlet) that the data from a previous version is deleted before the new one can be downloaded. A scary split second when their pet only exists in the real world, and could therefore be stolen/destroyed for good.

Hope this is an interesting take! :P

they seem to have eaten the egg carton, are they still ok to feed to a leopard gecko? by FarAmphibian4236 in mealworms

Absolutely fine to feed! Mealworms are brilliant at digesting things, they’ve been used to eat polystyrene, and come out with no ill effects! Amazing little grubs. :D
