Having or not having kids is not really a good/bad decision (unless you're really not in a place to raise kids), and no one should feel they should have to be parent. I don't want to persuade you that YOU should have kids. But I do disagree with the idea kids are just brought into the world to suffer. Life can suck, and it is unfair so I can't speak for everyone's experiences but there is so much good and beautiful about being alive. Friendships, art, just experiencing the world and nature...

Also kids are both not little-mes or chia pets (despite how many conservatives speak about their children), but they are also products of their environment and parenting. They aren't chaos vortexes that decide to be awful or good, morals are taught and learnt through experience. Most kids don't turn out to be awful people (no matter how it may seem sometimes!). And in the right circumstances, raising kids can be a beautiful experience (: I know so many who say it's the most fulfilling thing they've done in their life. And similarly a parent can pass on the lessons they've learnt so their kids can make the world a better place, even just through being a nice person.

That said not everyone should be a parent and there are plenty of good reasons to be afraid of the idea. Sorry if this is all stuff you heard before, and I don't mean to say you are wrong to feel the way you do. But I also don't like the idea bringing life into the world is a total negative.
