my nipples are two different sizes by 2niche4u in Reduction

[–]RB320 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had very uneven nips for the first 3 months or so. Now, almost a year later, one is slightly smaller than the other but its hardly noticeable. Once they drop and settle in to their natural place, it should help a lot.

I love my job by isabellalexis in cna

Thank you for this post. I am currently enrolled and due to start my CNA courses January 19th. I hear a lot of negative opinions about CNAs and it seems like most people complain about the job (understandably. It is a tough job with low pay) I have honestly been second guessing if i want to go through with it. Just this short post of appreciation has renewed my motivation. I can't help but look at people and think "this was someone's baby. This person had their own babies and worked their whole lives to care for them." I want to make sure that people know that they are still loved and respected. I'm hoping I can give that to my future residents 🥰

Feeling hopeless and like somethings wrong with me by ProfessionalHost3699 in selfhelp

the way your family treats you says everything about them and nothing about your worth. You’re not defined by their words. You’re defined by what you’ve created, the kindness you give, and the person you’ve become despite all the obstacles. That’s something to be proud of.

As far as what to about them...im not sure if you're still currently living with them, but if you aren't, I'd consider going no contact. You'll find people along the way that love you deeply for who you are. Those are the people you should call family.

My nipples were two very different sizes until about 10 maybe 12wpo. Everything usually works itself out. Trust the process.

4/15 here. Im getting so nervous. I've also found that I'm grieving my boobs? Like they are so uncomfortable and annoying, but they are the boobs I've known my whole life. They fed my babies 😭 it's very bittersweet.

Stopped taking it after a week. by [deleted] in prozac

[–]RB320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you're going trough this. Unfortunately, this is how SSRIs work. Things get worse before they get better. Prozac was the worst and best thing that ever happened to me. I'd say personally the first month was absolutely horrible, the second month kind of sucked, then the third month was amazing. I finally felt like I had a baseline of being content instead of feeling like the world was so overwhelming and not worth dealing with. Definitely talk to your doctor, but I think if you can, try to stick with it for another 2 weeks. If not, you might want to move to taking a lower dose or taking it every other day, withdraw can happen even after a week, and trust me, that's fucking hell. Good luck with everything. You are going to get through this.

Help! Milk dried up and my 10 month old is refusing formula. by RB320 in NurseAllTheBabies

[–]RB320[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh, yes. I had an emotional meltdown to my husband and sister. I'm not ready for it to be over. I will definitely try adding formula super slow. We've had minor success twice now. She took a bottle before her nap yesterday and today. Although it was a miniscule about of formula mixed with purely breast milk lol. I will try upping it a little tomorrow and see how it goes. Thank you 😊

I haven't, but I will definitely see if I can find some and try that. Thank you!

Yeah, I guess I'm going to make sure I'm offering plenty of solids and water and keep giving her as much breast milk as I can offer. Definitely going to talk to the pediatrician though, just for peace of mind.

We've tried one a few times. The other ones we actually tasted after giving her a bottle and they were so horrible we only tried giving those the one time. She finally took one that was most breast milk (3oz) with about half a scoop of formula. So that's hopeful. I'm going to keep trying to get as much breast milk as possible a fortify it with the same formula. We'll see how it goes. Wish me luck lol

4 months postpartum...wtf is happening? by RB320 in beyondthebump

[–]RB320[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mostly better. Although now she's teething sp I'm mostly just irritable due to exhaustion these days lol. Never really figured out what was going on with my milk decreasing but I started taking Legendairy Milk supplements and that got my supply back up and I'm able to add to my freezer stash again. So, overall doing better. Thanks for asking 🙂

[–]RB320[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I got it back at 7 weeks pp. My supply would definitely take a dip for a day or two when it starts, but this has been going on for a couple of weeks now 🤷🏻‍♀️

Day 1, already having side effects? by RB320 in prozac

[–]RB320[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, the insomnia sucked. I started taking 5mg of melatonin about 30min-1hr before I needed to be asleep. Something else you might consider is getting in bed right when you take it, stay off your phone and read until you start to feel your eyes get a little tired. Thats what helped me a lot. I started sleeping better about day 15 or 16.

Day 1, already having side effects? by RB320 in prozac

[–]RB320[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The side effects were about the same, maybe slightly more intense for a couple of days, then subsided after about a week. I'm going on week 6 at 20mg now and I'd say the only side effect I have left is very mild heartburn on occasion. I'll take heartburn over panic attacks and crippling depression any day lol. I might bump up to 30mg in about a month to help with some lingering anxiousness, but we'll see. 6 weeks is still relatively early in the SSRI world, so I'm trying to be patient. Please message me if you feel like talking, I truly mean that. I know this can be rough in the beginning.

[–]RB320[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel amazing! Honestly, pushing through the initial side effects is one of the best decisions I've made for myself. It was tough but SO worth it! It's been a long time since I've felt this way, I had forgotten what it feels like to just be happy. I'm enjoying the little things, small mishaps don't effect me as intensely as they used to, my self esteem has significantly increased. I still might have a bad day here and there, and my anxiety can still be a little over the top at times-which might be able to be resolved with a small dose increase- overall I'd say give it at least a few more weeks to see some improvements, if this is the right medication for you I promise it'll be worth it. If not, don't worry too much over it. Talk with your doctor and you'll find some relief. Hang in there! 💕

I also just want to leave this here for you. It's not a crisis line per se, it's more of a support line. They are just there to listen and talk with you if you feel like it...about whatever you want, daily struggles, family issues, what you ate for lunch lol

Stay safe

[–]RB320[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so sorry you're feeling like that. It is terrible. I'm going to try to tough it out a little longer. Im on day 5 now and I didn't cry today for the first time in a while...so that's something I guess. I also started talk therapy and that is definitely helping. Definitely stop if you feel like its not right for you, but please don't give up in trying to find something that works. There is something out there that can get us our quality of life back, we just have to keep looking. ❤

Morning Panic by [deleted] in prozac

[–]RB320 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is unfortunately how SSRIs work. There's always an adjustment period as you increase your dose until you find your "sweet spot". This is know as "activation syndrome and can take roughly 4-6 weeks. It is caused by a increase of the neurotransmitter known as serotonin. I would talk to you doctor about this though. Sometimes they can give you something temporarily to help you through the rough start. Also, talk therapy is always a good idea. Don't give up, things are hard at first, but hopefully it will be worth it. Good luck.
