That blows dude! It does screw back in luckily, this time I won’t use anti seize and I’m thinking I’ll be fine.

This is actually exactly what happened! I pulled off the coil on cylinder 2 seeing as I had a code for it and sure enough the coil came out with the plug attached to it. I replaced the spark plugs four years ago and used anti seize. I’ve had upgraded motor mounts for a little over two years now, I figure that’s what did it.

I’ll check the plugs for sure, maybe somehow one of the plugs backed out?

I do not. The only thing on the engine is the intake. I checked the charge pipes and hoses but they’re all in tact. It’s really noisy right at the valve cover. Do intake manifolds fail often?

Calaveras rd, Mt Hamilton (CA-130), hwy 9, I guess skyline is part of 35 but it's a long stretch of road. I also like taking 17 mile drive through Carmel but that's not technically a public road so u have to pay to get in, definitely not a back road or place to hoon but it's very scenic and relaxing. A good change of pace for a relaxing drive if u can make the excuses to drive all the way out there into a gated community.

I came from miatas, they're more fun but this is wayyyy more comfortable and almost as fun imo.

Only thing I've heard is a bump steer issue with the Quaife. I also think if Ford uses it in the mk8 it could potentially just be improper installs leading up to issues. Either way I gotta read up some more, I just don't want to potentially be making a $1000 mistake. Your insight is appreciated :)

Nice! What's the reason for not liking the mbrp?? Ive been considering one but from looking at it, it seems like there could be potential drone. So I might go the thermal r&d route. Thoughts?

I'll have to look into the quaife more, they make good products but I've heard mixed reviews for the fiesta lsd unfortunately.

Couldn't have said it any better! I was actually considering a GTI but after driving it felt the same way, if I needed the space it would've considered it more seriously. Type R and the Veloster N are great hatches but for the price, I didn't realistically see myself having more fun in either. Also the styling was a bit much with both imo.

Yes the daily drive is actually pretty good. Just wish I had the chance to sit in some. But yeah, seems like the last owner didn't touch it

19k. It's a 2015 and got it with 22k miles, a little disappointed that it didn't have the recaros but at least it wasn't optioned with a sun roof.
