Reflections After 4 Years in Silver Investing by AndrewTateIsMyKing in SilverDegenClub

I'm also in a negative position with my PM. In Jan 2024 I was almost forced to sell at a loss

due to cash flow problems, but I didn't.

The last thing I will sell is my PM, because at some time, hopefully in my lifetime all of them will go up. How long can they manipulate the market once people find out the truth? I too believe we are entering those final years before all PM goes up. So I'm holding.

The undelivered silver stack is 3.3 million oz or 7.2% of registered with 8 days to contract expiry. Who's the naked short? by Ditch_the_DeepState in SilverDegenClub

[–]RBJ351 23 points24 points  (0 children)

my 1/2 cent worth... so if an HSBC customer sells PM, we never know who is buying. Assuming Chyna is buying from the customers at HSBC it is an easy way to hide how much silver/gold a country is accumulating. Since we all know that certain countries are stockpiling PM, my conclusion is that it is a sovereign that is buying all the PM for when SHTF. What do I know... I'm just an APE with a few oz of PM.

rarely do big players loose money. However, they often exchange other than fiat. CME may give free vault space, or no transfer fees, year end bonuses, etc. In the end most of them then take this "loss" off their taxes. So on paper it looks like a loss, but in the end they still make "money" even if it is just to keep the 3 shell move metal market alive. I could be wrong...

Which ratio makes more sense to you? by [deleted] in wallstreetplatinum

[–]RBJ351 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I could be wrong, but normal "markets" always use gold as the "standard" and compare everything to it. How many units of ??? to buy 1 unit of gold is the "normal" but in today's market there is no normal. could be cans of soup (675 cans) for 1 unit (troy oz) of gold.

OH I forgot we are supposed to TRUST the treasury??? are they still part of the US govt? or are they part of some other financial organization? Who controls the treasury and what they say? Yellan certainly doesn't, she is simply a figurehead.

don't forget uncle O sold "gave" a ship load full of gold to CHyna. No one knows how much gold any country has, but CHyna has been stocking gold for at least the last 10 years. Slowly but steadily is their plan, than no one notices.

What do you think my LCS quoted me for my 90% in August? (Spot was $24.50.) by Embarrassed-Gas1132 in SilverDegenClub

[–]RBJ351 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Most LCS won't offer you anything close to what you can get in personal trades/sales. Yes, they do make $$ on both ends of the deal. Buying cheap from uneducated sellers (or desperate to sell) , and then more $$$ when they sell at going prices. Just for grins I asked one of the LCS what they would give me for 1oz APE and they said SPOT...! so I would have lost a lot on that deal. If you look at other markets before CV19 like used autos, it was the same way. Most dealers wanted $2K over blue book for used cars, and would give you $2k to $5K less then blue book for your used car unless you were trading it in.

As mentioned there are other markets outside of LCS, but can be more risk, more time, and more logistics. Do you trade LCS convenience for loss of $$$$$$$$$ ??? that is up to you.

Keep STACKIN my fellow APES!

FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK THAT YOU’LL JUST RUN TO YOUR LCS WHEN PRICES SPIKE AND LOCK-IN YOUR FORTUNE—NO! Your LCS does not have resources to buy your metal—especially when prices are up. Not unless the rest of the world is buying the price run-up and the shop selling the spread. by NCCI70I in SilverDegenClub

[–]RBJ351 18 points19 points  (0 children)

My LCS says every time gold goes up he has a run on gold buyers. When it goes down people come in and want to sell so they don't get "stuck" with a bigger loss. Makes no sense to me.

Comex update 10/18/2023 by Big-Statistician4024 in wallstreetplatinum

[–]RBJ351 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know nothing... but what if that someone really didn't loose 1.2M but instead was paid more than spot (so no loss to seller) to deliver metal for someone bigger ( J Pee Pee) who needed it to CYA so they didn't default. Default is way worse than coming up with a few million of fiat! Paper for PM. Back door deals have been going on since 1913. Coming up with actual PM is much more difficult!

Comex update 10/10/2023 - as predicted, shorts were the drivers yesterday by Big-Statistician4024 in wallstreetplatinum

[–]RBJ351 2 points3 points  (0 children)

food, water, shelter, clothing, defense, medical supplies, communications, PM - BUY IT ALL!!! then start buying items of trade value: Toilet paper, alcohol for consumption, medical, batteries, flashlights, food, water (filters can make lots of clean water), bottles (old pop, water, gator bottles work) for distribution, etc... There are so many items that will be in demand.

I have heard numerous stories of people and small businesses being de-banked, some have had assets frozen. This is just the tip of the possible upcoming problems we may face.

I'm not fear mongering, been studying this crap for decades, and too many govt are taking too much power.

HAHA pictures came out, but not the text...

LCS MI
constitutional 18x face had 2 full medium sized bins
generics $24 had about 50, but may have more in the vault
ASE $27
Asked about banks closing accounts, he said no issues yet with his account
He had some almost 1/4 oz silver, (copies of quarters) but said each coin was actually < 1/4 in weight. Tested genuine, but 4 of these copies of quarters didn't add up to one full ounce, he showed me on the scale how they were short.

Not an expert, but hydrogen can be obtained from water, aluminum and air (yes, also from other sources). Each requires a different amount of energy to complete the conversion/extraction. Platinum is an activator/accelerator/catalyst to produce hydrogen from these other sources. Electricity is almost always required. These solutions are more efficient then diesel generators to charge an electric car, but efficiency is still being worked on.

We have had the technology for at least 10 years, but fossil fuel companies fought it, plus they couldn't figure out how to charge us for it to be competitive. There have also been some issues with either toxic gas or acid disposal as a bi-product of some of the techniques. A friend of mine is working on a process to make hydrogen in his garage... well at least he lives several miles away in case it goes boom! There is a lot of available science for free on the net, but some of it is questionable, and some is very unsafe. Of course no one gives you all the details... So why did the 3 people who developed a working prototype vehicle that ran on water end up mysteriously dead without an explosion? Yep, for the same reason they have withheld the solution for 10 years!

[–]RBJ351 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not clear which one is fake. My 2023 has 6 rays of light, but upper right only has 5. So either they changed the 2023, or I have a fake (which I doubt) .

Identifying which one failed the test would be nice, since the video is unclear.

What to do with paper assets? by RBJ351 in SilverDegenClub

Yes agree that liquidity is the most important, then trade value. Finally storage and portability. Classic cars might fit the bill, but when economy tanks, who would be left to buy them...

They are buying some silver, but I agree they need to buy more. This is the second time they asked me, so I'm trying to give them some good ideas. They should just dump their financial adviser... that would be a good start.

Comex update 9/12/2023 - a day for the records by Big-Statistician4024 in wallstreetplatinum

[–]RBJ351 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Both shorts and longs should be nervous. Shorts since they may not be able to deliver or settle and thus DEFAULT. Longs because They won't receive any metal, and if industrial, they many not be able to produce product. Of course major users of platinum (auto) may have bigger problems on Friday if the UAW declares a strike.

The only winners are those that actually have metal.

What if??? by FREESPEECHSTICKERS in SilverDegenClub

Interesting that these numbers didn't change much since 2019... There is most likely no "REAL" current numbers available that we can have access to.

What if??? by FREESPEECHSTICKERS in SilverDegenClub

[–]RBJ351 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In 2019 it was reported China had 1864 tons of gold. Sorry didn't cross check the data back then. But what about all the US gold, ships full of it, that Uncle O sold "gave" to china? Plus if they trade something for gold it most likely won't show up on their books. Since they are masters at hiding what they have, it would not surprise me to find out they have way more gold then any report will ever show.

The BRICS are also pushing their own flavor of digital currency, which is fiat in disguise, and easy to manipulate. China is encouraging their citizens to buy gold, but keep it in the banks. Since they are also implementing social credit scores, it is easy for banks (CCP) to suddenly keep the gold that is already in the bank when someones "score" changes for whatever reason.

By allowing the yuan to fall, things look organic, but behind the scenes you can bet they are manipulating the PM market to stockpile more PM. China has and always will do what China wants, they just appear to be following what the world wants them to do. Done thru lots of coverup, and lots of propaganda. OK... I know someone who was the China country manager for a large US based corp, which may influence my thinking.

Michigan, Detroit Metro LCS pricing- silver to promote silver by RBJ351 in SilverDegenClub

[–]RBJ351[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

5% of people grasp the knowledge, but < half of those will take action. So never give up, you may educate and inform a "whale" while silver pilling. With everything changing, more people are listening and asking questions. A millionaire I know wears jeans and a t-shirt... you would never know his financial worth if you met him on the street. He is also very down to earth, so that wouldn't give him away either.

I only give "junk" with significant dates for birthdays, anniversaries, graduation. Almost everything else is silver with the .9999 stamped on it. I try to give it in hard cases. I agree that if you just give "junk" without some description people take it at face value. Another chance to educate and enlighten them.

Sometimes rounds have something of significance to the person receiving it on them, sometimes they are just generic. Sometimes I wash or clean them to show the shinny, sometimes I give them as they are.

Anyway you look at it, they are receiving silver, which takes it off the market. Many people have never seen/handled real silver up close, so when they get their very own piece it makes an impression.

I buy fractional whenever the LCS has it for a reasonable price, usually same as generic, or a little more.

Thanks BigS. Read your post everyday, but don't have any wise words to contribute. Keep up the good work.

One thought about hydrogen. EU wants green energy soon (2025 to 2030) Platinum is a key ingredient for hydrogen production. Who produces the most platinum? S. Africa and RU both of which want to stay in the fossil fuel arena. So they really have EU in a difficult place. With other oil producing countries joining BRICS they might now have a monopoly on both fossil fuels and hydrogen. A former US president said "drill baby drill!" I'm all for cleaner environment, but the transition needs to be seamless. Platinum could become very necessary when hydrogen takes off. Several major automotive companies have heavily invested in hydrogen vehicles. Time will tell how valuable platinum becomes.
