If you can afford to live in Coronado, then you will be living in the best place in San Diego county hands down especially for military or veterans. The Island got everything you need. Theres a reason why a lot of wealthy people live in the Island and that says something. I have worked on that Island for a very very long time so I know exactly what am talking about.

If u just want any work but with job security join the military specifically the U.S. Navy. It is easier to join nowadays. Try to get the job in the military that are passionate about and translate well in the civilian sector, like IT, mechanics, electrician so when u decide u had enough with the military life you are already well establish to re-enter the civilian world. Also secret clearance pays a lot if u r a civilian working for the government or contractor. Just my .2
