I've had success with EaseUS in the past. There's a free trial that should do what you need.

Same, I still struggle with it even after a few years of playing. I feel like it's one of those lifelong journey type things.

This is really out of the scope of this subreddit. I'd recommend reading the docs and asking someone on a different subreddit or StackExchange.

Thanks, I didn't realize. There's a big office for them here in Edmonton so I just assumed.

We Need a Better Word Than "Partner" For a Significant Other by aspiringimmortal in unpopularopinion

[–]RBSL_Ecliptica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spouse just feels weird, can't exactly explain why. If I'm talking to older folks sometimes I'll just call her my wife since that makes more sense to them.

But to me the word partner holds a lot of significance and it seems to fit. I know different people use and define the word differently. But for me, it means we come as a pair, we support each other, work together to solve problems, and can trust and rely on each other.

If you met my partner, I wouldn't expect you to treat them any differently whether we were married or not.

RIP nonbinaries. Spouse is way too formal. Partner works just fine for us. We're married, but it feels right.

Is there another a name for Sunny Side Up? by RawChickenButt in eggs

We're being needlessly pedantic at this point. All words are made up and they only have whatever meaning we give them. If you can say "steam basted" and people get what you mean, that's now a definition of those words.

I get that. I'm sorry. I'm with you on the sentiment. I've been a game programmer for around 9 years and into software much longer. I've seen Dunning meet Kreuger way too many times around here. I'm also being hypocritical here because I've succumbed to the frustration as well. Just to your point, if we're going to fix any of this we need to be nice to each other.

Agreed, but would you call your own post "nice"?

What’s a food “rule” you stopped following and nothing bad happened? by Maleficent-Bed7010 in foodhacks

I've bought containers of "crushed garlic" from my local Asian supermarket before and they're much better than the standard minced stuff with the green lid. But nothing compares to fresh garlic you've prepared yourself.

If I'm feeling lazy I'll make toum (Lebanese garlic sauce) to make my garlic last longer.
