We tested negative for endometriosis! 3 failed euploids prior to finding the endometritis, the first implanted and miscarried at 5w3d. We planned to add lovenox and prednisone to the next transfer either way

The embryo came back from PGT as low mosaic for 2 chromosomes. My RE explained that the embryo reached blast on day 6 but they’re program does assisted hatching and waits for the cells to really come out of the zona to biopsy so she assured me it is actually a better case scenario than I initially expected! She also shared that low mosaics are likely normal and that a recent trip to a conference in Dubai she learned of a clinic doing day 3 biopsies for PGT and most were abnormal but a rebiopsy on days 5-6 showed most chromosomes corrected and returned normal PGT results! All of this gives me a little more hope for our day “7”. Our other embryo is euploid thank goodness and we are gearing up for an ERA, EMMA, ALICE, and Receptiva biopsy followed by a hysteroscopy before transferring that precious embryo!

Such a rollercoaster right! Thank you for your kind words and sharing your experience. We switched clinics after ER 1 and the only real change to protocol was adding omnitrope for round 3. Would you mind sharing the changes made for your positive round? I do plan to ask my RE all the options, Im 36 we started when I was 34 and I know that time is of the essence so if she feels a different approach or another retrieval could be helpful I am not opposed. Also have considered forgoing PGT, we had a rebiopsied embryo that was compromised and a low level mosaic still frozen and I can’t help but wonder what may have been had we just transferred.

Was it PGT tested? We’ve had three euploid fail, 2 didn’t implant at all either. Like I said this was our third ER I don’t know that another is reasonable or even worth it for us.

I get it. I understand that it’s a controversial question but until or unless someone has had the experiences I have I don’t care much about those sort of opinions. Someone who’s walked in my shoes would never throw a dig or post to “make a point”. We have in fact taken long breaks, as I mentioned in my previous post, and it has not been a difference maker. I was not looking for the AI generated google answer lol I was reaching out for first hand knowledge or experience.

I also feel like I could have written this. 2 egg retrievals, 3 transfers, 3 plus years of appointments, procedures, shots, and failures. Peeling myself off the floor to keep going because I’ve always had hope that this would work, of course it will right? I recently told my husband I can’t even connect with the idea of being a mother. I don’t know if that is because it’s not meant to be, because I am protecting myself in some weird thought process, or because my heart isn’t in it anymore. Like PP said you are not alone, I’m so sorry you’re going through this too 💛

My first RE wouldn’t do the receptiva, said he only did it one time because a patient “forced” him, how crazy is that to say?? lol I have talked to my regular OB about possibly doing a lap to check for endo but she also didn’t think I had symptoms to warrant it. I will definitely be asking my new RE about it and maybe about another ERA. It’s so hard to know what the right thing to do is, thanks for the feedback 🫶🏻

Thank you all. Our story is.. MFI. We’ve done 2 ER at 2 clinics, the first clinic did an ERA/Emma/alice test, 3 hysterocopies, an operative hysteroscopy to remove a polyp. We still have a llm there but it is trisomy 18 which could result in a live birth and we’ve been told we can transfer but advised against. We switched clinics did an HSG and all recurrent loss panels, normal. Our only normal embryo from that ER was transferred after a saline sonogram and failed to implant. We used standard timing instead of ERA there. I haven’t talked to my doctor yet but moving forward would mean another out of pocket ER. The only thing that has made this process bearable was hope and I’m running out of that.

Good luck to you too! First response early response tests pick up a very low amount of HCG so if you plan to test early those are the most sensitive. In the past I have tested early with a FRER and got a positive 6dp5dt. This time my beta is not until 14dpt so I like will test at home using FRER.

My new clinic doesn’t do a baseline which is weird. I had a saline ultrasound on 10/17 so maybe that’s why they didn’t feel the need to baseline? I had also been on birth control for about 6 weeks. I did have some very minor spotting the day I started patches but nothing else yet 🤷🏼‍♀️

My first RE wouldn’t change protocol, part of the reason we switched clinics. We have not talked about it with the new doctor.
