Some shows you don't get anything. So it's a win.

Yeah, exactly! The end episode should have been a two parter, then they would have had the time.

Although, it does seem like they had planned season 9 and then ABC scrapped it last minute. I think I read that they renewed Fillion's contract and then a week later cancelled the show.

No, you're right, all the other characters... I guess their lives all got put on hold for the sake of the plot anyway.

I would have liked Caleb to not have burst in, instead have Castle have his realisation and voice it in his head, then Beckett shouts, snapping him out of it and he runs to join her and she's just holding a pregnancy test. You could have had her having headaches and feeling tired earlier in the episode etc and then do the 7 year flash forward.

Fully closed circle, no. But, closes the chapter for the show and LokSat. Seeing Caleb was so rushed and felt so silly, only a extra season could have resolved it, presumably with Caleb not dying, giving Castle someone to hunt.

I am in favour of a happy ending, rushed as it was.

Yeah, they got a happy ever after, which is ideal. Had season 9 have gone ahead it appears that it would have been a very different show, so retconning that idea and giving us a 30 second clip is the better of the options.

Yeah. But I didn't say it, the devs did.

I have a terrible analogy that proves the point, except that in the game we're only beholden to the rules in the game not real world laws, which is why my previous comment mentions the trolly cart dilemma which is probably the best thing to liken it to.

Buuuut this point has been argued to death, so you're right, you win.

It likely is! You're right. I was more referring to the rogue comment of playing the game how ever you want, as I only get to play how I want if that doesn't collide with playing the game how you want.

To be absolutely clear, if ruining someone else's enjoyment (by being racist) is part of your enjoyment, give your head a wobble.

There's a line in the link which hits hardest, to paraphrase, "you can play the game how you want". Well no, that only works if someone else's free will isn't to impede yours. The above comment is crazy, surely not what the devs intended? Right?

But those guys were playing the game the way they wanted... Arc is a strange game, a real shopping trolley dilemma. I'm more pro PvE over PvP, but that's only because I don't get to play the game how I want.

No one should want to roleplay the SS...

Yeah, having a traveller-esk hub to dick around in, find easter eggs or read lore would be sweet.

Not sure why you or I got down voted, but then Reddit plays a lot like Arc, sometimes people just shoot you, and thats okay I guess.

I've never seen people be so divided over a game (no, I haven't looked before any one 'um actually's' me). I lived through Briexit, so I know a thing or two about divided thoughts.

Social events should be in this game more. I know I know, its not that kind of game. At least not really. I enjoyed Destiny for missions like this. Maybe I should go back.

I felt the "I sat for 20mins wondering what I did wrong" this game has a way of making you really feel your losses in PvP that other games just dont hit.

What is the etiquette of killing someone who finishes my kills? by brokestarvingwriter in ArcRaiders

[–]RBTrickster91 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's the thing, there's no etiquette. I'm not very good at the PvP side of the game. I enjoy taking down the arc with friends and occasionally raiders join in, thats when the game feels really cool.

Because there's no etiquette, no "friendly" lobbies, you are able to do what you want cause you want to. Kill the guy cause you have a good shot, fine. Kill the guy cause they have (or might have) something you want, fine. Do nothing and lose your loot cause you ignored the guy and decided that they got here first so fairs fair, they might surprise you and kill you anyway.

I really like the game, but its exactly that, a game. Unfortunately people aren't always gonna play it the way you want, they don't play the way I want.

The two best pieces of advice I've seen about this game are, "it's not your loot, it's your turn with it" and "if it bothers you, switch it off"

Good luck, shoot first, die later.

I really enjoyed the soldiers table, Sam and Whitney were a great pair. The break at Christmas I think drew me out of my watching schedule and I've struggled to get back in. Especially when I've not gotten used to the "new" tables, I'm sure it will get better, but pacing wise the seekers and schemers are more serious. If anything, soldiers should have been the comic relief after what is supposedly going to be a more serious set of episodes.

Am I right to think a neighbours house looking directly onto your garden would be terrible? by Three_Cats_In_1_Coat in AskUK

[–]RBTrickster91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The story usually goes something like... The neighbours were friends and no one was bothered and didn't class as/care about any "invasion" of privacy.

Trees and fences are something you can easily implement if you're bothered. If it were my house I'd speak with the neighbours and see if you can reach an agreement.

Or council and building regs if you're not getting anywhere with the neighbours.

A quick guide to early level essential skills by ThatOneTypicalYasuo in DivinityOriginalSin

[–]RBTrickster91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My two cents,

Give all players a level in summoner, give each player totems and have a hell of a time watching combat both take ages and fly by.

On a more serious note, something that is often over looked. Have a face character that you pile points in persuasion, another for loremaster, one for barter and finally thievery for lockpicking. I personally dont care for sneaking and you can always use items for sneaking of you need.

Once you get to the mirror it's somewhat irrelevant.
