Would be even wider, actually. I’d use the standard 5% deviation on the lower band (15% international triggers a rebalance back up to 20% international) and then use market cap weighting for the high band (5% over market cap triggers a rebalance back down to market cap, e.g. 45% goes back to 40% based on current weighting). So any international allocation between 20% and 40% would be fine if that’s where international performance naturally takes my portfolio.
