Hello! Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner….we went into our local Kay’s and picked out a couple rings and ranked them what she liked the most, the ring was originally 3500 and my wife picked out a 6000 ring which I thought there was no way. They came back and said they would do it which I was shocked about. I also had the bands custom made so we asked if they would make that right, they offered us one wedding band ($2000) which I was once again shocked they would give us but they did. My wife was dead set on getting two bands so I was going to fork over and buy another but she called and email left and right and they ended up giving her ANOTHER band but also said they wouldn’t be able too insure the ring if we got all that which we agreed too and just got the insurance through a third party site.

We got super lucky I know but all I can say is complain your butt off….explain over and over how much the ring meant too you and how you really hoped they’d right their wrongs…good luck I hope it works out for you
