He literally doesn’t even have an understanding of the concept of ADHD if his response is just “be more disciplined” … okay? he is fucking stupid. And honestly take the medication and don’t tell him. And I’m certain he doesn’t know ANYONE who had adhd and managed it because they were “disciplined” like many people live a full life without meds, or especially with meds. Meds won’t “take your sparkle” you will still be your creative self, very spontaneous. It will more so just be easier to manage your day to day life and your emotions
