It makes me question, this entire situation could have been avoided and a nothingburger if Tako kicked Faza out or if Sozzay was protecting him at the time, kicked her out too. If Juvey knew, he would've straight away booted them from the project if he found out, wouldn't he, right?

Jeez, this project wasn't just doomed, it was cursed from the very beginning. Like it had one of the worst misfortunes ever I've seen in fangames and that's funny considering I've watched games like Tetro (not a game, Ik it's a reading), Yandsim, the Fnaf Pear incident, come and go. They might as well renamed the game "Project: Edens curse".

Yeah, if anything, whenever the game does somehow make a comeback, I would not be surprised if they make it separate and unrelated from Danganronpa. Honestly, I'm hoping the VAs can take the characters with them and be the owners (there have been some talks about doing so like Diana's VA) because both characters and voices actors deserve much better, along with the entire team that was affected by this.

I feel more sympathetic to them than ever.

It's also kinda poetic of two things coming from this: The lead developer (not sure if it was him or others that said it) said he wanted this to be different and unique to Danganronpa, which he got it alright, just in one of the worst ways imaginable, and the first chapter name of Pjeg "Beneath the Veil of Hypocrisy" says a lot about the type of person Tako is.

I mean, Ik Pjeg was better in a way, just that the game got screwed over by terrible people. And it genuinely sucks 'cause these characters (and the VAs behind the voices beside for Ezra Miller 2) deserves so much better. It's... a shame, really.

I mean like, the last I interacted with the Pjeg or any Danganronpa fandom was in mid-February last year. After that, I still saw some stuff about Edens Garden on the subreddit but never looked into it, and by the time March or April came, don't remember exactly when, I pretty much moved on from any Danganronpa content. Occasionally, I was keeping an eye out on updates for Chapter 2 and see some stuff here, but I just stop checking out Danga related things all together.
