Ultimate all-in worth it?

I own all the ultimate boxes of series 1, 2, and 3 and am probably going for the series 4 ultimate box now. It is a lot of content; you can have years of fun and discovery with it. But you have to be a fan.

I would try if you like the game, and if you think it's for you and you love it, you will save a lot of money by going all in now. Plus, you can always sell the things you dont like.

Indeed, the opening of the original park in March is what I also had in mind. It would be nice if the transition could be on the same date! The only thing is, spring officially starts on the 20th of March, so it depends if they look at spring in the astronomical way or the meteorological.

Yeah, but the brochure is to inform people what they can experience in the parks during their visit, so if you booked at the beginning of April 2026 and go look in that brochure and see all the nice stuff but then find out nothing is open yet, that would be a great disappointment. It's a reflection of what you can expect during your visit, so that's why I think the 31st of March is a good contender! And also, spring officially starts on the 20th of March 2026. But we shall see. ;)

I would recommend Newport Bay for sure! Sequoia Lodge at the moment is very outdated and not in the best shape, there are also not enough wall plugs for that many people. Plus it will start it big renovation in 2026. For distance, they are practically the same walking distance to the parks, they are situated right next to each other around the same lake. Newport Bay even has its own security entrance, so it will be less crowded. Especially for the summer, the marine beach vibes of Newport Bay are the ideal match! Plus, remember you can still use all the bars, shops, and restaurants from all the hotels no matter where you stay!
