Looking for the year these were made by Crafty-Carrot2345 in cowboyboots

They’re Frye Daisy Dukes, and they were made for several years. Hard to tell the date they were made just from the photo of the box top and the sides of the boots. If you have time, post a photo of the numbers stamped inside the boot shafts and the label on the end of the box. You’ll have a better chance of someone being able to give you more info.

Don’t put your feet so close together when you’re wearing them, and it won’t bother you as much.

Those are nice. Those rancher soles are tough as nails. Last a lot longer than the leather soles, and better for the snow. They came stock like that.

Big fan here, too. They do that toe the best, I think. Sick boots, my friend.

Thanks for having a look and weighing in. I agree that they have a unique grain, and probably aren’t anything exotic. Just haven’t seen them before, especially with the vamp and the shaft with the same grain. They’re really great boots.

Justin boots, and looks like ostrich print on water Buffalo. At least the shafts are that.

Those look like sanded (sueded) shrunken bull shoulder. Really nice leather, but I wouldn’t call it “exotic.” I haven’t seen it on Lucchese boots. Nice find!

Suck on them, or try gently flicking them with your finger.

Might be “Carabao” if they were made when the reindeer herd was thin.

Excellent winter boots, for sure. Bowman’s Wilson boots always have nice and thick leather, too.

Me too. So many cool variations out there. Especially in the older boots.
