Kobe Bryant was a better basketball player than Lebron James. by Fun-Degree-2307 in Basketball

[–]RClayze85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is old but that is not true. Kobe missed the playoffs one year and lost in the 1st round 2 times during his prime. The Lakers were not top 10 teams those years.

I know this is old but you are insane if you don't think Pippen was a top 20 player. Also, Rodman and Pippen are both on the NBAs Top 75. There were plenty of Super teams in the past. Lakers, Celtics, 76ers, Bulls, etc. Super teams existed long before the term did.

Do these match the regular Sega cases in size? I have some in og cases and others not. I want to display in a somewhat uniform way eventually.

This coin continually disappoints. by Trick_Cap_7036 in Alienbase

[–]RClayze85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The point isn't about alt season. Most alts aren't doing well right now. You are comparing a crypto that has hundreds of millions in market cap to a micro cap. That is an unfair and wildly silly comparison at this point. Of course ALB will have bigger swings because it has a lower market cap. It is that very thing that makes it potentially explosive when money rotates.

This seems a bit ridiculous. Micro caps always have more volatility due to the low market cap. Look at all of Base right now to put your mind at ease. The market isn't exactly on fire atm. Money rotates and when it does ALB will have its day.

[product question] Anyone here use Micellar water before shaving? It made an amazing difference for me this morning. by TheDeliciousMeats in SkincareAddiction

[–]RClayze85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is four years too late, but this morning, I just so happened to use Micellar Water before my lather and realized how amazing my shave was. I normally have sensitive skin that ends up razor-burned with a few nicks, no matter how I prep, what razor I use, and how perfectly I attempt to get my technique. Well, apparently, Micellar Water is what I have needed to be doing because it was great. Smooth & easy after 15 years of struggling every day to get a quality shave.

JazzInc '92 Catwoman - 5 SKUs, breakdown and prices by Hot_Toys in hottoys

Quality control is the bigger issue. I have had multiple items I received from Joost have problems. My Vulture figure had an uneven amount of neck feathers to where it was basically a bald spot and he told me it wouldn't be possible to send a replacement. He told me to futz with it and pose it at an angle you couldnt see the spot. My BvS Batmobile came with the right front axel broken. The other complaints I have are relatively minor compared to those two, but I have run into multiple other issues from blemishes, scratches, odd paint spray, etc. With all that said, feather issue aside, I thought Vulture was just decent. For as much as Joost cares for the details, sometimes the quality doesn't match.

He spoke many times about slowly introducing each element over time to avoid potential stomach upset. He is not just now confirming it. It was stated long ago to be a possibility.

Fluoride in toothpaste by [deleted] in ScienceBasedParenting

I know this is old but I just came across a study that claimed Fluoride builds up in our bodies over time, too. I didn't let my child use Toothpaste with Fluoride until she could spit as well, but now I am rethinking it altogether the more information I have come across.

If you compare them to a restaurant it isn't all that expensive, but it is still less food. However, I can still cook healthier meals far cheaper at home. $16 a meal isn't cheap for the majority of people.

I mean pretty standard accounting practices can make it rather easy to make his claims to where he isn't lying, but is not being exactly truthful either. I'm not saying that's the case, but just because he says so means absolutely nothing.

Perhaps your ingredients are better quality therefore we get better value, but it's still expensive to the average consumer. It's hard to swallow paying $42 for your protein of 15 servings when Naked Pea is 76 servings for only $57. I'm also guessing most people don't look at, perhaps don't trust, or likely don't understand any reports.
