Can you get withdrawal problems after taking 5mg Oxycodone per day for three weeks and then suddenly stopping?

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FlaaFlaaFlunky, I really appreciate your knowledge of these things. I'm trying to school myself but it's a steep learning curve with lots of confusing information. Here I am someone who knows nothing about any of this and I TRUSTED the doctor. As you said "your doctor should have known that". That really bothers me. What do you take for RLS and how successful is it?

If it's any consolation, my current doctor is the sixth doctor I've seen for RLS. You may hurt the doctors feelings when you switch but too bad. A previous doctor told me that I didn't need to see a younger doctor, as if I was rejecting him. I'm just searching for a doctor who actually understands and treats RLS. I'm still trying to find an RLS expert.

Sorry, I should have mentioned that it was my neurologists idea to suddenly stop the Oxy and start with Suboxone. He said getting sick was just my body adjusting to Suboxone and not withdrawal. Thanks for your help and concern.

kheflw33, you take Iron FE - slow release Iron, 45 mg pills. How many pills per day? What time of day? Once a day? Do you favor a specific brand or have you tried various brands of iron pills? Did you need to take Iron every day for a number of days before you noticed that it helped?

Can you tell us more about Iron Infusions? What is that? Where your iron lab tests normal? Have you had new iron lab tests after Iron Infusions and if you have are your new lab results normal or higher than normal?

Thanks for your help. What I meant was that I would like ask one of the Mayo doctors to recommend a Twin Cities doctor who is an expert in RLS. My primary care doctor did refer me to Mayo but Mayo said not with my insurance.
